  1. Sorry to say but the plate on Craig's car isn't worth anywhere near that. All 4 numbers are different. This will reflect heavily in the price. Even MIL5882 is £600, so with that in mind, max would be around £300 - £400.
  2. With no MOT or TAX, the odds aren't favourable.
  3. http://www.theplatemarket.com/can_i_retain_my_number_plate.php
  4. No, it will just disappear. A plate won't be re-issued.
  5. There is absolutely NO point in wasting your time doing that since your car has no MOT and isn't likely to. You can NOT retain the plate from a vehicle with no MOT as I have already said.
  6. I've never seen the appeal/benefit/desire in using cold running thermostats on engines with stock management. People seem to be hell-bent on getting their cars to run ultra cool without knowing what benefit, or not, this actually has on the engines' running (these are probably the same people that leave their engines running from cold on idle for 10 minutes thinking they are doing their car a world of good!) As Jeff has said, the engines were designed to run at optimum efficiency at around the 80 degree mark. Running the car on a cooler stat messes up the fueling. Will just run rich and won't give the correct power.
  7. Probably just a can of hair spray! lol
  8. The advert makes a mockery of society and Z owners! LOL
  9. You need to apply for a retention certificate from the DVLA, but since your car has no MOT, you won't be able to do that. TBH, the plate is only worth around £250, it's a old Northern Ireland plate.
  10. One of the most disgusting bodykits EVER to have been developed for the Z32.
  11. Excellent stuff! Still can't believe the owner was going to bolt on some crappy fibreglass bodykit to it after keeping it like that after all these years!
  12. At least the dump valves had ONE use here. About the only decent one there is for them! Shame it was to highlight nasty internal damage.
  13. Judging by the state of the wheels, I am sure the owner isn't fussed about the body! LOL
  14. It'll never work. Not for a long while yet. It's unworkable. I drive around 50,000 miles a year as do many others.
  15. You are joking...already!!??
  16. Interesting they mention grey imports being 'less power', yet refer to a TT in terms of performance figures but put up a photo of an NA! LOL
  17. Well good luck, hope it looks as good as it did before!
  18. Damn! Thought it looked pretty good as it was.
  19. TPS, MAF, boost hoses, base idle speed.
  20. ARGH! Not bah humbug! Christmas is just bull crap!
  21. Mine don't even go up! LOL
  22. Agreed, but if you think that's bad... ---> Make sure you check the dates! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=102063
  23. ....if you want a cheap wheel that's better quality than Wolfrace/TSW etc, then have a look at Rota. Still pretty cheap and not the best quality, but not bad and better than the aforementioned brands. Few ideas.... http://www.rarerims.co.uk/alloys_sub2.asp?id=70
  24. Well they aren't brilliant. Not bad, but are cheap cast monoblock. I'm always dubious about Wolfrace/TSW/Team Dyniamics type wheels. OZ on the other hand are pretty reasonable quality and that's a funky wheel IMO. Won't be cheap, but it looks good. Unfortunately with black, you loose definition. They can look good on black cars, MadMarco's car looks good. But generally, nice bright silver gives a really clean/slick look to the car.
  25. Oh dear....on all counts.
