  1. .....just don't paint the replacement centre console blue as it looks a bit "Modified-Saxo-from-the-early-2000s" I'd also probably change back the steering column cowls with standard black ones.
  2. Yeah, I get that, but you could get a head unit that does everything, that's what I'm suggesting and they're not that expensive. You'd get back a centre armrest which I'd suggest doing in a leather that matches the seat centres. You'd be able to remove all the unnecessary wiring and smarten up the interior a lot.
  3. I'd rip it out and start again with a double DIN fascia if you wanted to go that route. Why is there a screen and a separate single din audio? What's that under the arm rest? Please don't tell me that's another head unit?
  4. How many do you want? The lot? I can wacky them in the post tomorrow first class and you'll get them Saturday. PM me your address.
  5. OK, so this is what I had in my parts bin (excuse the quality). I have 2 domed silver self tapping screws which you'd find holding the pressed tin weatherstrip retainer to the body, although one of them is tarnished, 5 of the same domed self tappers in the dark green/almost black colour in good condition and 6 self tappers that you'd find securing the kick panel to the sill. I don't have the larger ones that secure the weatherstrip to the B-pillar sadly.
  6. Shit sorry, one sec.
  7. Amazing! There are still some left. :) Love mine.
  8. Make sure you get some spray bottles.
  9. G101 is a brand of APC, yes you can get it on eBay. It's amazing stuff and will remove staining and water marks like they weren't even there. I'll be in my Z down in Portsmouth in a few weekends time. I'm taking it to a classic car show near Paris. I'll be taking the ferry from Portsmouth. If you're about on Saturday 28th in the morning and want to meet up briefly in Southsea or something since you're just down the road in Langstone.
  10. Use a good degreaser and a toothbrush and then G101 neat with a tooth brush and it'll come off with ease.
  11. FYI, the a-pillar screws are the same as the ones holding the retaining plate to the targa panel if you have any spare teargas lying around.
  12. That big one at the back (B-pillar) has been superseded and unfortunately the superseded part is nothing like the original and doesn't even fit. I'll have a look in my parts bin and see what I've got. I think I have dark versions of the silver plated A pillar trim screws. I'll let you know when I'm home on Wednesday. I think I have those self tappers for the rear door trim finisher too.
  13. It depends which wheels. If you're wanting to fit NISMO 370z wheels then the rear arches need rolling quite a lot.
  14. Not sure. They were still listed about 12 months ago and were nearly £1kea from memory.
  15. A whole dash without a hole. Good man! I'll keep my eyes open too. :)
  16. Looks amazing Lee  .....but have you really cut a big hole in your dash? Please tell me it's not for one of those ugly gauge pods..... :(
  17. Glad you've changed your mind. Those giant pram handles are not a nice addition to any Z.
  18. Went to Jim's again today and Gary was there collecting his pearl yellow Z. He's recently had it back from the bodyshop, the same one that did Joel's and mine and who's also doing Howard's and AndrewG's at some point. It looks truly splendid, so thought it rude not to take a snap.
  19. 'Motel address' should have had alarm bells ringing as well as that URL. I'd ignore it and not click on any links.
  20. True. Although on the road trip to Monaco last year, we drove through some near-torrential down pours and not a drop came in. :)
  21. So true! Even mine leaked ever so slightly (despite adjusting everything as per FSM) before I replaced all the seals at huge expense.
  22. As per Joel's links. RPS Max Street Clutch and RPS Segmented flywheel. I have these along with a braided clutch line, new slave cylinder 350z clutch fork and pivot ball, it feels great; light, easy to use and progressive. Avoid twin-plate and puck clutches. One rattles to hell and the other is like a light switch in comparison. Both have their merit, however as a fast road car, neither are ideal.
  23. That's why there are strong A and B pillars which haven't collapsed and a T-bar section which also hasn't collapsed. Targas won't protect you in anything.
  24. Ditto. If he'd have stayed in the car strapped in, he may not have had any injuries.
  25. Car has has had enough presants. There are a few boring things on order for from Japan. Some horns and some hoses. Sounds like a BDSM night!
