Simply Japanese 2018
They've predicted quite a lot. So gutted. Awful forecast for here on Sunday with flooding and strong winds forecast. Z will certainly not be coming. :(

Rear brake disks - stock
Just don't get the Brembo Sport pads to go with them. Amazing pad with great bite but the trade off is horrendous brake squeal and no amount of adding extra chamfer to the pads makes that aspect vanish.

Simply Japanese 2018
How unfortunate, the weather is set to break down completely over the weekend. Certainly in in Somerset heavy rain and driving winds with the chance of flash flooding for Sunday. What a real shame. Probably won't be in the Z. :(

Fuel Cooling
In Sibera in the winter they do too! Diesel turns to gloop.

See you Sunday. :)

They're still in your conservatory aren't they...….!!!

Fuel Cooling
Absolutely correct.

Fuel Cooling
It's more to do with intake charge temps and density rather than fuel temperature. Fuel burns as a vapour, it doesn't matter what temperature it is in its liquid state, it will always have the same flash point based on its octane and other properties. A fuel that burns cooler like E85 has higher octane at a lower flash point, it isn't to do with the temperature its stored at in its liquid state. The ECU can compensate fueling relative to fuel temperature anyway, but it's not the main factor. Larger intercoolers will help you more in this weather and in general anyway.

What did you do to your zed today?
Absolute rubbish, couldn't agree more. If you don't use it, don't turn it on. Despecifing the car is nonsensical. I use my CC all the time. There are plenty of opportunities to use it and wouldn't live without it now.

My bad, I still haven't called Rockingham. I'll get on to that!

The less said about the BOVs the better but why did you delete the cruise control!?

What did you do to your zed today?
Yes and I don't like the way you lose the clarity of shine on the paint. Also, the fronts I absolutely have to have as I want my rear wheels shielded from any incoming. I already have a set of the fronts on my car which will be coming off soon. You can see them in my sig, they're ever so subtle.

What did you do to your zed today?
You have to get them ex-Japan. US stock is depleted. Order them through http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk Part number for the 2+2 is F3830-32P25 they're £120-ish delivered and they took 3 weeks.

What did you do to your zed today?
These arrived today, something I thought had gone NLA. They're the original fit spats for Euro and US cars (not a fan of the large JDM things) . They're contoured and very subtle. I have them on the front and stupidly gave the rears away, but want to protect my paint a little better. I'd rather do without them, but you barely notice these.

Forecast is only for 23 on Sunday. We'll lose the heat we are getting this week.

The wheel polish is actually wax not polish. ;)

Not needed for me. I'll bring some extra water though I think.

Dead spider removals...
If you're careful, you can re-seat them with what came out. You don't need to remove the glass though to get anything out. You can either pressure wash the inside of the glass with the reflector removed and leave to dry or get a vacuum cleaner. You can clean the glass with the reflector removed. To remove and re-seat, put the units in a cold oven and switch it on to about 80 degrees c. This allows the glass to heat up slowly, the glass will then separate. To rebond, do the reverse! I've separated mine prior, but that was because I painted the inside plastics black.

You're as dumb as a person trying to nail a jelly to the ceiling. I'm not that bad. I've poured orange juice all over my cornflakes before......I can immediately think of a dozen things that make you worse than me. ;)

There is only blue with white tracer on the harness for the clock, there is no solid blue.
