Wiper refurb
Not a particularly exciting thread, but anyone with OCD might like it. Had my original wiper arms refurbished years ago and they held up well, still look great. Always fancied a set of UK wipers. Well, a driver side anyway although to make sure they matched, I had both powder coated a matte black. Main issue was to get the plastic spoiler recoated. Took a lot of sanding down to get rid of all the chips and marks that it had picked up on its previous life. I did try using filler at first but decided to spend time smoothing it down completely rather than trying to fill tiny little prone areas. Here it is in its sanded state. Coated with Plasticote. Looks grey here however the high intensity spot lights in my kitchen somehow skewed the contrast. Gives you an idea of the finish. Wiper back from the powder coaters and spoiler fitted. ...and fitted. :)

Spotted about 10.30. Your rear bumper is flapping around a bit (driver side) looks like you're missing a bolt.

Newbie looking into a Japanese Sports car - Should it be a 300ZX???
Main thing to look for on these cars now is rust, rust and more rust. It's tough finding a nice one in the market place as generally the nice ones are enthusiast-owned and seldom come up for sale. Your best bet is to speak to Josh Lake @ Gorilla Imports and get yourself a fresh high quality example direct from Japan.

Switched injector Voltage
555s use the same old fashioned pintle technology as the originals. If you're going to upgrade, NISMO 740s are the ones you need. I wouldn't waste your time with 555s personally.

Big Power + Big Brakes callout!!
Mine are firm and give great bite. Not quite as good as the brakes in my Mercedes, but not bad. The issue with the brakes in the Z32 is down to a number of things. The reason they can feel vague is because of the routing. The ABS modulator is in the boot, it's very indirect as pressure has to travel down both ends of the car and back. Brakes in a new car will always feel different because many are over servo'd which goes at the expense of feel. It feels firm, but they feel numb. Older braking systems are a little more raw. Bleeding the system through the ABS modulator and calipers will help give a much firmer feel. There's also bulkhead flex which you can get an ugly bracket for, but I'm no convinced that makes a massive difference. Old rubber brake lines can swell, so fitting braided ones can help. My braking system has essentially new, new calipers, new booster and good condition MC, I don't think I can get mine much better but I'm pretty happy with it.

The week it was put into storage, so 10 years ago? Change your cam belt as an absolute matter of urgency....unless you meant 'after'. ;)

adjustable camber arms
Avoid ALL adjustable links with bearing or solid bushings if you value a compliant ride. Go for SPC ones which are rubber bushed. Solid joints/rose joints on a road car especially on UK roads ruins the quality of ride. Unless you're on coilovers and fairly low at the front, do away with adjustable ones and get stock ones with uprated bushings. I can't begin to tell you how bad rose jointed/solid links are on these cars.

A participation prize I hope. That awful creation is utterly tragic. Your car on the other hand looks wonderful. :)
