  1. Doesn't include downpipes, but mid section and back boxes. Downpipes you could replace at a later date, but they're not overly expensive. This is the Mongoose system and is a quality UK supplied Z32 system. They're pretty decent and within your budget. http://www.camskill.co.uk/m15b0s6557p3988/MONGOOSE_EXHAUST_SYSTEMS_-_Catback_System_NISSAN_300ZX_TWIN_TURBO_AND_NON_TURBO_2%2B2_TWIN_BACK_BOXES
  2. Yeah or you could mail it to someone who knows what that parameters mean based on what is and is not good for UK engines. It will be safe enough to run, some of their maps are quite aggressive, but that's generally when you're running higher boost levels.
  3. There are about 3 different tunes on the MINES ecu iirc. The only real way of telling which one it is, is to read it to see what the parameters are on it; you need special software and a connector to do that. People like Noel (turbonoz) and John Dixon would be able to do that. I wouldn't say that any of the Japanese tunes are ideal for UK fuels though. The MINES ECU, as with the one I have which is an IMPUL ECU should come with a ZIF connector in it which means there's no need to de-solder a chipset, or indeed accidentally bend pins on a chip carrier. ZIF connectors are great for quickly swapping out chips without the worry of any damage.
  4. In addition to what Andrew says, white is really prone to bleaching and can be really noticeable. Paint matching and panel blending will be a necessity. The paint in your Halfords aerosol will be a mix of the original pigment weights, not what your paint is currently now after weathering and general discolouration.
  5. Ignore! I was reading the read about induction 'roar' when I wrote it! Got my tubes cross! :p
  6. I eat my hat. I didn't think they were doing them anymore. Pea-shooters!
  7. Zcentre don't offer a SWB system. But, as above, the US is the best bet. Z1 have a range from B&B (my favourite), Labree and their own version IIRC. You could also try MJP as he sometimes has shipments in from the US.
  8. It's not the recircs that are making the noise. They should make no noise at all. The noise will come from the wastegate which is heard as a result of increased boost and that noise is made more audible by fitting cone filters which remove the sound dampening forces created by the stock air intake.
  9. The wing almost looks like it's pearl white!
  10. Putting restricters in your vacuum lines will help. This is essentially the boost jet mod (which will increase boost). I wouldn't plug them.
  11. Why do you want to plug and blank parts of the system that the car uses as metered components? I don't get it. So standard boost. When you increase the boost, the wastegates will open more. You'll notice more of this 'chirp' when you do that.
  12. Are you running standard boost?
  13. Sensible and BEST option is get rid of those pointless dump valves, refit the recirc valves, either with known good ones or with the BDE goose-honk killer kit. I personally would not blank off the recircs at all. If you say your recircs were 'silent' then you don't need the BDE goose-honk killer kit. It would make the unit a little better, but if you haven't already got goose honk, then you don't really need them. - - - Updated - - - Someone asked for a video of the dump valve noise, I gave them a video of a noise that sounded like a dump valve!
  14. I think to be honest, very little is tested for in terms of motorway driving. Whilst I get annoyed at the drivers and really, common sense should be exercised, those that really have limited comprehension won't really know any better. I always want to come back to the lane of quickest escape. I've had a blowout on the motorway and I am glad that I was exercising good lane discipline when it happened. Sure, it could have happened out on lane 3, but if I hadn't have come back to lane 1, my chances of having an accident would have been that much higher. My old Leon about 6 years ago.
  15. Interesting! I didn't know they did a diesel version of the Focus ST! I am probably going to replace my Leon FR 170 toward the back end of the year and I am quite liking the current Focus. I want a diesel, this ST looks like a nice idea of I can get it with an oil burner! EDIT! I re-read what you'd written. I guess the ST3 is a petrol only.
  16. Middle lane hoggers are probably my biggest bugbear. I can't physically sit in the middle lane unless I am overtaking something. My instinct is ALWAYS to come back to the inside lane at every opportunity, purely because it's the closest lane to get the hell of off if you have a mechanical failure of sorts! I'd rather have a blow out in lane 1 than lane 3. Plus there are all the other reasons why in terms of traffic volumes and queues etc.
  17. What noise are you after? The wastegate chatter / chirp is generally heard when you fit a cone filter and up the boost a little. It has nothing to do with the valve itself.
  18. I have aftermarket recircs. Recircs are by far and away the best thing to keep on the Z when running standard management. What is disapproving about what you've done and where did you get the impression that I was!?!?!?! lol
  19. Not diggin' the LED strips, but like the gloss-black backing. :)
  20. No, I love it! I love the proportions. It's barely indistinguishable from the real thing! So rad that it's 'tiptronic' too and that interior is just sublime. The dysentery-beige bolsters are to die for.
  21. Same here!
  22. Really? This one is the most reposted z32 advert on here. ;)
  23. Haha. I sent him a message earlier in the day. How can you make an 'error' like that?
