  1. When you said 'rear sidelights' I was assuming the corner markers. Not totally following you. SVA have only swapped out the bulbs and you've wired in a separate feed for the rear fog lights? So your rear lights are on, but NOTHING else? Not even front side lights?
  2. What work did you do for the SVA? Did you wire in an auxiliary fog light? Is your fog light button on or off? If you have side markers, some JDM models can be illuminated as part of a 'park function' with the ignition off. They'll work without the keys in the ignition. Press your fog light button on the right hand pod and see if they turn off. Key doesn't need to be in the ignition.
  3. As there are no car washing facilities on site, get some clingfilm on your mirror covers and front end before you leave to stop those pesky gnats from making nasty messes!
  4. 'As I drove passed her', it's a perfectly acceptable phrase and the usage IS correct. Things can be written in a number of says. Your argument is both valid and invalid.
  5. ....I tell you what, I did make a grammatical error, but not one that you spotted. I should have used 'passed' instead of 'past'. 'As I passed her'. So you almost had a point. But my phrase 'just as I drove past her' means that I hit her at the very point in which I drove past her'.
  6. 'As I was passing' and 'as I passed her' can have the same connotation. The 'act' is still the same.
  7. My car has no front end on it this evening! It's now undriveable legally!
  8. You're making about as much sense as a politician. I haven't changed a single thing! I hit her as I drove past her (driving by her - SAME connotation). Now if you actually had a credible argument, I might find it a bit of fun, but as it is, you're like a fart in a cathedral! How else would you have worded it? Would you have stopped and hit her? She stepped out at the point that I drove past her, not before; she walked into the side of my car. So part of the car was past her and it happened as I was driving past her, so the sentence works and is correct. Coming from the most incomprehensible person on the forum, you are a nincompoop! ;)
  9. This is where we need a 'buyer / vender ratings' sub forum. I think people SHOULD name and shame or give praise where praise is due. It would help get things in the open and would stop shady business. Without asking, I know who's ripped you off - that user hasn't been online since this thread was posted, I wonder if they will add their input when they log back in?
  10. It makes perfect sense. As I drove by her, I hit her, ie, she walked out. I still drove past her! I didn't stop and then hit her!
  11. Realised that 10 seconds after I posted it!
  12. I don't think it's Graham.... EDIT...forgot, he's TLO! lol
  13. It's easy to search to see who it was. I hope it gets resolved from both parties.
  14. You know as bad as this sounds, after I'd hit her, my first thought was 'shit my car' - it all happened so quickly, I wasn't entirely sure what had happened, I had to physically refrain from looking at it when I got out to see if there was any damage and went straight over to the woman. After we'd made sure she was ok, I walked back to the Z and give it a quick look down expecting to see the bumper turned inside out....but nothing. Both she and I were really lucky. She could have ended up under the wheels and/or I could have had a ruined front end. I've never hit a human before.
  15. Wow Ted, thanks for not only finding a mirror for me, but getting it out in the post already! You're an absolute star! Can't thank you enough. Thanks everyone else who had input! :)
  16. Yours is series 2+ though. Only the full-blue came in S1.
  17. It's one of those spurious cars with different series' spec, a bit like Harby (Kev's). Generally, cars with TK3 had blue interior and would also have had matching blue glass. There are mongrel series (can't think of another word) during series changover where different specifications appeared to what you'd normally find. Your car is a rarity!
  18. Just don't want Trish getting confused! :)
  19. What colour interior does yours have? Sapphire blue should have come with blue tint glass. There may have been some spurious models from Series 2 onward that came without the blue interior and thus fitted with bronze tint - every sapphire blue (TK3) I've ever seen has had blue tint glass. Just to point out AGAIN - Trish's cars is definitely blue tint.
  20. Postage at least!!! Thanks though! :)
  21. They're not detachable, they're pressed into the motor housing. Thanks anyway.
  22. I think they're different as they are part of the motor-base on the electro-fold mechanism. I'll have a mess about to see if they're detachable.
  23. Awesome! Let me know how much you want and I'll paypal you some money. It's just the passenger side one I need and it needs to be from a JDM vehicle with the electro-folding mirrors.
