Stop bumping old threads!!!! :wack:- Bloody Daddy long legs!!
Yeah, the same green goo is all over the side glass and some of it down the side too! Must have been a huge grass hopper or something. Don't really know any other large green insect that would appear in the air like that!- Bloody Daddy long legs!!
I have no idea. The camera seems to lose its sense of 'scale' this thing is HUGE! Half of it then went on to hit the drivers' window too and there's a huge green streak up it! I daren't roll the window down as that goo will find its way into the weatherstrips and it'll leave smears until winter! I am going to clean it all off now!- Bloody Daddy long legs!!
Well that's what I did today - or rather my car did. Heaven knows what it was, but there's little left of it!- "Simply Japanese" - Beaulieu Motor Museum - Joint southern area meet
Bit busier this year then which is good. I hope some of the Zclub members visit!- Hubcentric Spacers
They are or 'were' before the hub flange was destroyed. You can see how uneven it is, it's clearly been damaged. Spacers should always come with special low-profile studs that sit flush or under the level of the hub face, but yes, very correct, if the wrong studs were fitted and the wheel wasn't flat against the hub.- "Simply Japanese" - Beaulieu Motor Museum - Joint southern area meet
Just checked in on the 350z crew and it looks like we'll have over 40 cars at this rate!- "Simply Japanese" - Beaulieu Motor Museum - Joint southern area meet
Right guys! I have been speaking with Caroline at Beaulieu and we'll soon be needing final numbers as she needs to know how big our club plot will need to be. If I can have final names by the end of the month, that would be great. So far: 1) Funkysi 2) Jimmer 3) z32bolt 4) bigh 5) Terry 6) ianl 7) hellraiser 8) 300_zedx 9) AndrewG 10) sdriver73 11) rolandas 12) spin doctor 13) Gio (tentative) 14) icewhitebear 15) gray (tentative) 16) 02pmal 17) pig 18) SteveE 19) nomisf 20) groover 21) veilside01702 22) wchestnutt 23) joelyp 24) RichardSmith 25) Andy300zx If there are any of you that can not make this date, please can you let me know asap, perversely, if there are any of you that still want to go and haven't registered an interest, please speak now or forever be silent! :) In terms of booking, this needs to be done independently either over the phone, via their website or on the day at the gate. We have a number of cars from the 350z club attending also and possibly a few from the Zclub - hoping to push 30-35 cars in total, which is a healthy number.- Bloody Daddy long legs!!
Crane fly nookie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- Bloody Daddy long legs!!
I have a mosquito bite on my ass.- Looking to fit some noisy air filters... what do i do with the holes in the air feed?
Unlikely you'll notice a 'noisy' induction roar like you get on things like the early MPi Vauxhall and Rover engines as the intake runners are so long. You may notice a little increase on an NA, but nothing of any great value. On TT engines you can hear wastegate actuation or rather, flutter a little more.- Bloody Daddy long legs!!
You will get the AIDS.- Hubcentric Spacers
I studied engineering at college and did elements of it in my degree. Mainly steel (mild) torsion and loading. It's really interesting actually.- Bloody Daddy long legs!!
Kill them all! Pull their legs and wings off, put them in the microwave, get a magnifying glass on them, throw them in the toilet and pee on them!- Hubcentric Spacers
If they're hubcentrics, then they'll be billet. You'll be fine. :)- Hubcentric Spacers
That will be why then! Agreed, H&R and Eibach are high quality. Both made in the same factory actually.- Hubcentric Spacers
MWTech on 350z owners makes good quality hubcentric spacers at a competitive price. As you'd expect, they're made from billet with high tensile nuts and studs.- Hubcentric Spacers
I think the OP would have told us had he damaged his wheels or hit a curb. ;) If he simply driven down rough roads all day long that would mostly cause stresses in the Y axis. :)- Hubcentric Spacers
No dismissing it is not daft IN THIS case. :)- Hubcentric Spacers
Cast hubcentric spacers?? Where did you get those from??- Hubcentric Spacers
Most recurring impact forces on that part of the car's components, will be in the Y axis. Only impact forces in X would generally be when you strike a curb or have a crash. - Fitting aftermarket steering wheel
