Glitter paint?
I am still puzzled that you know about words such as samantics, yet your posts are near ineligible!?

19 inch wheels Possible ?
Again, it depends on offset. You can just about squeeze a 10" wheel with no arch modifications @ +40 at the rear. Fronts, 9" @ +25. My fronts are 8.5" wide @ +20 with 245 35 19 tyres and the rears are 9.5" @ +25 with 275 30 19, but I do have the very top of my arch lip rolled which you can't see.

Offset!?

19 inch wheels Possible ?
Not a simple case of whether 19" wheels will fit. They will, but that is governed by what offset and width you go for. I have 19" wheels on my Z.

Glitter paint?
Incorrect. Flip paints have a polariser in them to stop paint refracting at different angles, completely different to pearl effect paints!!

Glitter paint?
Don't do pearl, but do a red pearl?

Glitter paint?
HORRID! Glitter paint is really 80s and REALLY tacky! Leave it to the fairground rides to use that paint! Hateful! As cheesy as Jimmy Saville's tracksuit! Chavtastic!

Happy birthday Mr. K (Yutaka Katayama)!!
Nice memories Steve and Pete! I was hoping to get out to Japan this year with Mad Mike to meet Mr.K, but alas, it wasn't meant to be - 3 x trips to the US and a respray kinda killed funds a little this year!

Happy birthday Mr. K (Yutaka Katayama)!!
Those that are familiar with the Z lineage will of course know who Mr.K is. Most say he is considered the grandfather of the Z car and today celebrates his 105th birthday! Alas, he doesn't travel out-of-country anymore as he used to travel over from Japan for ZCon in the US since his retirement. We hope to speak with him via Skype at ZNationals though. Here he is pictured with Mike (Mad Mike) Taylor, president of ZCCA about 12 years ago - I think only Steve Burns and AndrewG will know who he is. Mike I've met many a time and he has some great stories to tell, but most on here will know Mr.K! So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR.K! :)

What did you do to your zed today?
The gold wheels do look better by a country mile, but not because they're gold! They look like Work VS-XX to me. A very nice high quality wheel.

September the 11th
It's been almost 20 years since the sinking of Estonia too! 28th of September 1994....can you believe it?

September the 11th
I was working on an MOD research base and we were on lockdown for a few hours. Every car going in and out was searched. I ended up leaving mid afternoon as I couldn't work. I'd JUST come back from the east coast of the US too (within a few weeks), so it really shook me up!

What did you do to your zed today?
Good man! It's the best way. Ask them to save the bit they chop out and you'll understand how they rust and where it comes from. :)

Help please on gearbox linkage
The rubber is more than likely to have given way rather than that pin breaking! Can you whip off the gearknob, take out the leather and then rubber gaitors and take a close-up photo?

Help please on gearbox linkage
This is the part you need. The rubber perishes, gives way and the linkage drops. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=4_40_144&products_id=708

Gearbox issues
What oil was used in the gearbox? As for the bushes, MJP if you want stock ones, if you want bronze ones, try Z1. Nothing wrong with the stock ones though.
