  1. It's discontinued, so whatever a used one comes up for. They come up occasionally in the UK, but I haven't seen one for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if they go for £750+ as they're pretty saught after. ABFlug Superior which is essentially the same other than the design of the tailbox are going for well over £1000.
  2. Things look nice when they're clean and/or plated. Still tons of stuff to do, but offered these up. :)
  3. Looking for 6 coil pack brackets for powdercoating please. Condition is not too important as long as they're not heavily corroded.
  4. Aftermarket LEDs have a long way to go before catching up with modern production LED headlight technology. I wouldn't bother. Stick with a low K HID kit or a standard halogen bulb.
  5. Had my roof bars black now for about 5 or 6 years and haven't looked back. You could match it to a pair of black original headlights too. ;)
  6. Andy, I'm up your way next week. Can I come and have a look at this and see what else I might want from it? :)
  7. Had a spare set of absolutely disgusting rocker covers. Had them fully degreased and vapour blasted. Got rid of all the crap and left a perfect surface to powder coat. I had them done the factory original. Well, the bare alloy bits I had done a satin silver to protect and keep fresh. I had thought about doing the whole lot silver or the whole lot satin black but decided to keep it as originally intended. Very happy with the results. I use a very good powder coater in Bristol who Jimmer uses. Got the freshly cadmium plated breather pipes ready. Used a flat ended rubber mallet to beat them back in. Very very snug fit so thankfully no sealant was required. Earthing screw at the ready. Made a new earthing strap for the fuel rail.
  8. The seller does. That's actually a photo used in the ad, not my screen-grab.
  9. Hardly surprising he's not getting any bids. That set of photos he's put up of the car is the worst set of photos I've seen in a for sale ad in quite a while; might as well have put up photos of some toilet brushes or a colostomy bag (both filled and empty). I mean........it takes a few minutes to take a photo of a car....like the whole car. There's a HUGE view finder where you can actually see what you're taking a photo of, it's called a big LCD display. It's not the 1960s and you're a 5 year old kid awaiting to have the prints back from Truprint taken with your shitty old Kodak Brownie. It must have taken serious effort to take photos this bad.
  10. I think the French translation was slightly aggressive there Seb. See you next month. :)
  11. They ALL have bleed screws. The Z32 requires the system to be bled otherwise it won't work correctly and you'll get air pockets. I personally wouldn't waste my time with a used radiator when high quality pattern replacements are so cheap. I'm not an advocate of pattern parts, however these radiators are manufactured by Koyo who make all the uprated ones and are of exceptional quality and are virtually indistinguishable from the original. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F282667450391
  12. ALL Z32s irrespective of market, engine or transmission have the same bleed screw in the same location for OEM or pattern radiators. If you fitted a new radiator then it would have come with a new one. You can buy them separately also. You have probably caused yourself further headache by using a silicone sealer to secure it as getting it out isn't going to be easy. Do ask on here before you try doing things like that as it looks like you're going about things the wrong way. What radiator have you fitted?
  13. You know I was thinking about exactly the same thing the other day. I am sure car enthusiasts would use it in their droves, especially classic owners. The hard part (after collaboration with councils) would be to work out how much salt is on the roads when they didn't grit. EG. Night 1 falls to below zero, gritters come out and destroy everything, night 2, it's cloudy but doesn't rain keeping temperatures above freezing so gritters don't need to go out indicating a no-salt day, but there's still salt everywhere.....or it rains, but not enough to wash it away. Gritters don't go out the next day, but there's still salt everywhere. Getting the right information would be nigh-on impossible without teams of weather watchers and scientists measuring everything. Salt is such awful stuff for cars, especially older ones which have been exposed to the environment for longer and don't have the protection modern cars do not to mention the damage it does to the paint itself. Best thing is to use ya noodle and not go out in it or make double sure it's rained, washed it all away and dried before the temperatures dip resulting in gritters coming back out! Sadly, they send gritters out when they don't really need to. In Northern France, it generally needs to be quite a few degrees below freezing or for an ice warning for them to grit and the roads are plenty fine for driving on.
  14. Valve on top of the radiator!? Huh? You shouldn't be sealing that up with RTV, that's the bleed screw!!
  15. You would have had salt on the roads, I was in London last week and saw i; thing is Richard, you never pay attention to that fact which is why your Z turned into the ferrous ore from whence it came! ;) You'll be paying more attention now I'm sure!!
  16. Hello! Where in Portugal are you from? Nice US-spec Z! I have a good Z-owning friend in Porto. If you're near there and are on facebook, look him up, Vitor Pinto!
  17. Mine's laid up for the winter now too. I don't SORN it as I still hope to have one of those off rare dry salt-free days between now and the spring. The weather is dreadful now and we had salt and shit on the roads last week and now stupid amounts of water this week.
  18. I bet you can't wait to get it back. Very surprised considering the length of time it's been there that the door handles, mirrors and weather strips weren't removed though?
  19. .....don't write the NA off though. Read up on Slickpete's threads. He gets plenty of smiles and fun out of his modified track car!
  20. TT manual is the desired choice and by far the most fun and exhilarating. Having driven every single drive train, I personally wouldn't entertain an NA, especially an NA Auto. If you're going to go for something with the looks and poise of the Z32, it has to have the drive train to match. Welcome to the club!
  21. I'll raise this with the guys right away and will come back to you Chris. Sorry it's taken time and not been discussed yet. I think it's a good idea given the size of club and how things have evolved.
  22. Picked up a box of parts from the platers earlier. Here's a small selection.
