  1. Avoid BOVs like the plague!
  2. Pretty sure you've explained this to him thrice over now!
  3. Agree with Andy! I'd hate for this to be a 'placebo'. I've never been too keen on additives etc, probably because I don't know enough about them and in days of old, the additives were almost added to mask faults rather than fix them.
  4. Personally, I'd use standard wing bolts painted to match the car.
  5. I wouldn't touch it. Pattern wings are notorious for lack of galvanising and rust inhibition. I'd rather find a good second hand OEM one.
  6. Rear screens were never made as a pattern part, in fact none of the glass was other than the windscreen which Pilkongton do. New ones from Nissan are around the £600 mark which are made by a Japanese glass manufacturer. I'd buy a used one if you can find a good one.
  7. Yeah, I am just sat eating sushi in a restaurant in Northampton. Heading down to Luton in a bit. Horrible place! lol
  8. Nope. It was an option to have them and illuminates side markers are an OEM part.
  9. West Dorset? Sherborne way? Takes me forever from North Somerset! lol. I'm in Northamptonshire at the moment.
  10. Mine already had the loom there! I was lucky. All I needed were the markers themselves!
  11. I don't like city life either!
  12. Newport has had some investment, it's not as bad as it was.
  13. Hirwaun, Merthyr and Port Talbot all need flattening and rebuilding. :D The rest of Wales can stay exactly as it is! :D
  14. I love Wales! The roads are half as full as those of England! Welsh are ubber friendly too! I'm only 20 minutes from it too! :)
  15. I expect that Fox News' reporter has been down Soho Street in Birmingham, seen that and nothing else! Parts are. Very central Brum is ok and some of the nicer surrounding areas like Solihull are nice too....but the rest, I'm in agreement with. 'The Black Country' area is generally what makes it seem depressing. There is no nature ANYWHERE! The odd tree here and there, otherwise it's a concrete jungle and you can rarely know where you are when you're there and you can't tell when you cross from Dudley for example to Wolverhampton to Walsall and then to Smethwich which is really dilapidated....you could be anywhere in that area. There's been a real lack of investment there.
  16. It is shite!
  17. Price is around about the £45 mark each which isn't cheap, but you are having qualified people work on it effectively giving the seatbelt a brand new lease of life. New ones are about £200ea iirc and I'm not even sure you can get them anymore? Mine is a little more terminal than that. It won't even retract the slack, it's completely buggered. My D-rings are clean and I have treated them.
  18. Taking my front belts to this place tomorrow http://www.seatbeltservices.co.uk My driver's belt has been slow to retract for a while now and more recently, it lots in odd positions and now won't retract at all, so I have decided to have both belts' recoil and lock mechanisms refurbished so they should fly up like that of a new car! Anyone ever had this done before?
  19. Anyone remember these pieces of turd!? Think BeeGeeVinz had the below!
  20. I put winters on my daily from about November, to be honest, I haven't really had cause to use their supreme grip, however they are better in wet weather conditions too. Generally winter tyres are slightly more expensive and if used all year round' due to their softer compound will wear out a little quicker than normal summer tyres. I think because of that you won't get the same fuel ecomony (if of course you're worried about it).
  21. Love it! Even better than the welding my on Veilside system!!
  22. Well done Vig! When are you down here next!?
  23. You getting confused with the fannymoulds? They're relatively good in terms of quality and fitment.
