  1. In the most diplomatic way I know how, I agree with this statement. :)
  2. Yes Add to, a girl I know is also bringing hers.
  3. How? Just because it's larger doesn't necessary mean that it has a higher flow rate or enhanced filtration qualities. The A'pexi in tests actually has superior numbers against the JWT, unfortunately that test which was done is now offline. AndrewG might know of its whereabouts. The JWT filter is very good also, but it doesn't 'outshine the A'pexi any day'.
  4. You will find you will spend a lot more on them too. They're not cheap to maintain. You've also answered your situation, get yourself a good used MAF to rule out the possibility of it being the culprit.
  5. I wouldn't go direct to Nissan to get one, but I would get an original; you have a number of options, buy one from a UK vendor such as MJP, or from the US or just get yourself a good known used one. They're quite pricey new.
  6. They would have originated from China. The originals were Japanese manufactured, probably by Mitsubishi Electric. I am 6,000 miles away from my Z, so can't pull it off and check the manufacturer's ident.
  7. ....ironically, the Veilside sticker that has been affixed is actually on an Impul side skirt!
  8. Sorry, it was 42 degrees and I had just stepped foot out of a restaurant in the middle of the Arizona desert and was about to jump into the Mustang convertible waterbed that I've got at the moment. I didn't really have the inclination to write something that could be considered an entrant for the Man-Booker prize for literature. :p
  9. Front bumper is an Impul item; one of the very few (probably the only actually) aftermarket front bumpers that actually look good and suits the cars natural lines.
  10. Rear spoiler is a Veilside EC1 I think. It could be saved, but that old V8 doesn't interest me at all. Ancient 1970s engine in an advanced 90s GT..... I'd buy it for the front bumper though.
  11. Been there, done that! ;) I have some $500 worth of brand new OEM nuts and bolts to fit once all my suspension components and fuel tank have been powdercoated. I have another $250 worth of OEM nuts and bolts in my suitcase that the guys at Z1 gave me when I was Missouri yesterday. When I get back to the UK, I will have a new fuel tank shield waiting for me from Gibster-TT. Basically anything that is visible which has either become tarnished or faded is being replaced with brand new OEM. Soon these parts will not be available.
  12. YES! Speak to JoelyP, he's another whom I converted. It does make a subtle, yet dramatic difference. It's hard to describe, but it gives the car a MUCH cleaner and fresher look.
  13. Neither. I'm going NISMO bushings. They are rubber, but are a slightly higher shore hardness.
  14. Continuing to go down my semi-concourse route and replacing anything that's either grubby, tarnished or slightly worn. Today was the turn of the drivers' side electric windows switch AND finishers. In addition, I also collected the first bits back from the powdercoaters. Finish is exceptional. It looks really shiny here, but it's satin and the same tone/finish as OEM parts. Once all the new bushings and joints are pressed in and the new plastic trim, it will look really good. New OEM bolts all round! All the rest to do next, including subframe.
  15. It's not rust, it's the brown coating. Thanks guys. :)
  16. I have an early plenum, so I can't fit the J30 covers, however I do have access to a 95+ inlet from a chap in Kent..the Z32Inovations covers are not nice. In the meantime however in case I don't go that route, has anyone successfully (without the use of chrome or any other plating), brought these to a more 'fresh' appearance? Currently, they're like this (as with most Z32s).
  17. It's a Kawasaki colour I think.
  18. You're about as funny as anal polyps.
  19. There's usually always a core charge. You can buy them from the US withouth, but then you'd be looking at spend a LOT on shipping. You can get a second hand prop shaft for £40-£60, so it's hardly breaking the bank.
  20. My car's like a book. Easy to read. ALL mechanical and electrical work done by either Jimmer (Powerzed) or myself. :D
  21. TBH, Z plastics are known for going very brittle and crumbling at the touch, especially connectors. I wouldn't be too quick to point the finger at ZedWorld for everything if you believe them to be at fault, however I understand your comments. Wood screws I've heard before, I know of another member who had the woodscrew treatment too. lol
  22. Fix it? Was it broken? What was wrong with it? Zedworld's website is only redirected after Jeff and Jim agreed that Zedworld's old customers would now be handled by PowerZed and subsequently a redirect was put on Zedworld's old website. The two business were never affiliated.
