Won't throttle above about 3000 rpm
Did you double check all the pipework was sealed? No leaks? Did the garage disturb anything like the TPS? Check the TPS voltage, it should read 0.45v. Also try dropping some codes off.

Whilst you've fitted a new wiring harness, did you thoroughly clean all the connectors and sensors that it plugged into and have you checked the voltage at the TPS?

Brake Discs & Pads
OEM would be more expensive. Brand new ones would be over £200 I think. Good pads are £50 at least. Rear discs are somewhere in the region of £120 a set and the fronts I think about the same. There are aftermarket ones on ebay for less though....you probably could do it all for about £200 at a real push. Rebuild kit is about £70 and that would make the biggest difference providing your current discs were not shot. Rebuilding the calipers is pretty easy, although stock callipers have this crappy metal spring retainer for the dust boot which can ping off.

Brake Discs & Pads
Under £200? Full calliper rebuild and disc re-skim with some new pads. You're not going to get a huge amount more than that.

15mm bolt-on hubcentric spacers
These were custom manufactured by MW-Tech of 350z owners. They're not available anymore and from memory, I don't think you can even buy 15mm bolt-on hubcentric spacers in this country anymore, the only ones I know of are FIC ones which are available only in the US which are £120. These are £40 + postage which is unlikely to cost much more than £5-£6.

€650 for a perspex strip!!
It's cheaper to fly to the UK, collect one and take it back with you....!

Stock rear wheel studs
As the title suggests, for any of you that have fitted slide-on hubcentric spacers, or anyone that's breaking a car, I really need the stock wheel studs from the rear. Anyone got any?

Just bought some 19" BBS LM
No, no problems fitting the tyres. There's enough space (just)! Your fronts, I'd go for a 245 35 19 (a bit of stretch, but with that offset, you'll need a bit of clearance). As for the rears, God, no idea. You'll need to roll the arches most likely....

Already has.- Just bought some 19" BBS LM
There are some very minor imperfections, but generally, they're in great shape! That's a negative sir. I need to replace the rear wheel studs with originals as I have lengthened ones as my old ones have 10mm spacers. The wheel currently sticks outside the arch, by 10mm (est). I also want to fit 295s on the rear wheels as they currently have 275s on them (I can't stand stretched tyres). Fronts will be going wider too, probably to a 255, maybe a 265. I'll fit the current Goodyears on my old wheels as they're the same size and they'll go with their new owner. Time to get some replacement tyres! :)- Just bought some 19" BBS LM
- Removing all externial illuminating LED lights from my Z
The ones I currently have are SMD. I'm only fitting the 501 style in my fog lights. I've tried expensive and cheap ones.....very little difference. You know me though, I'm just super fussy! lol- Z wrapping paper
Is it bad that I know about 4 of the owners of the cars on your paper!?- Just bought some 19" BBS LM
So good, you wrote it twice! Should be here shortly. Let's hope they're not banana shaped! I don't know how well they were packed and I don't know how much care was taken when handling them!- Removing all externial illuminating LED lights from my Z
You're 'slightly' late. I'd have course have said yes and for free too. But someone else messaged me within a few hours of this thread going up. Sorry dude. You're welcome to the SMD LED sidelights thought. I agree - their technology is a lot better. My Insignia has really nice DRL LEDs and they're pure white. I've dried many different types - they're all much of a muchness. I don't think there's much difference between the 5000k HIDs - JoelyP has those and they do look good. Because I'm going back to regular sidelight bulbs, I feel the 4300K will look more 'oem' and hopefully without any blue hue to them at all.- Just bought some 19" BBS LM
Why would I do that? I work from home. lol- What are these 2 connectors for?
Very common. AIV (Air injection valve) and EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) are not required on our cars and most people remove them.- Just bought some 19" BBS LM
Something like that! lol. Should be here with me tomorrow!- Help identifying a part number
Oh they are available. Mike can get them, I just haven't gotten round to ordering one yet and collected it. Can't post it too easily!- Help identifying a part number
Obscure parts is 'good'! I'm future proofing my Z. So much is imminently going to become obsolete. I actually need to get a new underbonnet liner.- Help identifying a part number
God damn! That easy huh! *hangs head in shame* Thanks! :)- Help identifying a part number
I've had a broken engine harness clip for a while now and want to replace it (buy a few a of them for safe measure)! I've trawled Nissan4U and Courtesy, but can't find it anywhere. If anyone knows (AndrewG maybe), I'd be most grateful. It clips onto the rigid boost line that runs long the right hand side of the plenum. It holds the main harness.- Why bother with UK clocks?
No idea, that's a new one to me. As for fitting, it takes me the best part of 5 minutes to remove a set of dash clocks. The rest is easy enough too. :)- What are these 2 connectors for?
Correct. No! It has NOTHING to do with the transmission. Akita, your car has had its AIV and EGR system removed (as many Z32s have), these are the redundant connectors for those items which would have been bolted to the firewall to the left hand side of the brake servo. - didnt expect this
