  1. Is there a loss of power when you get this 'rumble'? AMS engine mounts you say!? Mmmmm. Check those too....
  2. I would personally avoid doing that at all costs. You have what looks like the original harness. If you insist on steam cleaning it, then cover every single connector. If I was doing it, I'd be getting in there with a tooth brush and some strong degreaser spray in a little bottle, I wouldn't be pouring water into the engine bay.
  3. Yes you will need extended studs. Basically anything 10mm and over you'll require extended studs on the Z32.
  4. Those are the 8.5x18 and 9.5x18 by the looks of it. Those are the widths and offsets available now unfortunately which is why I had to go and import a used set. Mine are 9x19 and 10x19 in a much nicer offset a wheel spec that isn't available from BBS anymore.
  5. I pay by direct debit monthly....I have now forgotten the yearly cost! Haha.
  6. No, not yet. I really ought to do some updated pics of my Z. Haven't for a while now.
  7. Had a great day at the Nissan event at Donnington with Joel, Karen, AndrewG, Ian Greenfield, Simon and Fran. Really nice little gathering and really good to meet Ian and Simon's lady. Happy to report that the brakes are almost bedded in? The car feels better than it has ever done with the new wheels and brakes. It's like night and day. I can't wait to get the bushes on the rear done, single piece prop and a full alignment.
  8. Getting this little bitch ready for a tiny little show tomorrow - Brembo time!!
  9. Ouch! I worked an angle grinder into my knuckle about 10 years ago! Effffing painful! I used Duck tape as a bandage....until it went a little sceptic!
  10. I did not know this Polio J!!!
  11. No, but it may have to be certificated by VOSA due to extensive structural changes.
  12. No, no photos, although he took PLENTY for himself. I think the article is well written and based on the car being 25 years further down the line, he still enjoys it.
  13. Mmmm, quality is poor, when I get home, I'll upload it to photo bucket.
  14. I'd remove that Powerflow Kev. I don't wanna sound like an ass, but they're shocking quality. Someone on ebay would buy it....just a thought.
  15. Always liked them. Vauxhall/Opel/Holden have always been good at making RWD cars, the Monaro is no exception. I've only driven a CV8, that was nice.
  16. From Daniel Kidd probably.
  17. Wow, how many excuses can a man come up with for not sending stuff out!? They guy is a ****ing idiot. I trolled his facebook page, he doesn't appear to have a single friend in the Z community. Noel, you met him, was he a ****?
  18. Nice job! Your boot carpet needs a shave though! :p
  19. My advice is don't fit a short throw shifter! They're horrible. Renew the bushings in your stock shifter, it's a much nicer feel than the clunky notchy feel of a short throw. The throw on the stock shifter isn't really that big anyway. Unless you're planning a race car, I would steer well clear of them. I've driven lots of Z32s with short throws and each one felt notchy and clunky. I personally think they're awful.
