Convoy to "Simply Japanese" - Beaulieu from SE
If anyone's coming down the A34, then I'm good for a convoy! ha! I think only Scott (sdriver73) is coming that route, so the 2 whities will roll together! :)

Lee, I have a spare washer jet t-piece if you want it. It's brand new. It's the black one that clips to the bonnet. FREE!

Is it low enough yet??
I did tell you when you had all my Powertrix stuff from me! Glad you have it now and not me!

Driver's side under dash vent
Likely a 96+ non-airbag wheel. They have a strange recess line that runs around the centre of the wheel.

Welding up the brake light hole, for perspex stip WO braklight?
They only ever crack on the end bits due to miss-handling on removal or over tightening. A valueless job welding up the TBL aperture, it won't prevent anything.

Simply Japanese.
Awesome! Can't wait for this - can't believe it's been nearly a year since the last one! WTF!?

Nice Lee! You know I get more excited about getting new OEM fastenings delivered as I do upgrades! There's something special about seeing loads of Nissan baggies with nice new nuts and bolts in them. :) Buy now whilst you still can, those bits aren't going to be around forever! They'll likely be phased out sooner rather than later!

Name change
Can I change my name to 'Mr.Shit'? It was my old user profile status....lol

A big thanks to Roobarb!
Just had an email from Jon Bentley. He tells me he's written an article for Classic Car Weekly on the Z32. Will let you know when it goes to print.

What did you do to your zed today?
One way of doing it! I was lucky to get mine for about £200 :)

What did you do to your zed today?
They have not been available for YEARS! I knew an owner who bought one of the last new RHD headlights and kept them boxed in his loft ever since. I had been persuading him to sell them to me for about 6 years and eventually he gave in! I've refurbished a few sets and you can clean them up, but you can't really clean the reflectors as they mark very easily. Also the plastic trim fades and gets attacked by the elements. New ones (in person) just look so crisp! :)

What did you do to your zed today?
Finally fitted my brand new headlights! Took me long enough to get round to fitting them. So clean and crisp, the reflectors are sharp. I also removed my H3 6000k and replaced with the correct H3C and at 4300k. You can see here the difference in bulbs. The orb is much closer to the base of the unit. When I fitted them, it gave much more focus and clarity and noticeably less scatter. I tried to capture it on camera, but I just couldn't. You can really see a defined arc with these blubs in and 4300k is just right. :) H3C being the shorter of the two.

Solder
That is one ancient board! lol You wanna see pick and place machines in full action. Those huge through-hole components would have been manually placed.

That is an awful Z! blurgh! - - - Updated - - - ONLY JOKING!! Looking very nice Gary! Wasn't long after that when you changed the indicators IIRC? Back to OEM ones.

Going back to S1 PTU - for a while
I'll carry the spare S2 that I have for that!
-
What did you do to your zed today?
Kill myself Gary! lol Tyres mounted on the BBS LM. Before I fit, I need to swap out the wheel studs on the back as I was running spacers. 10" @ ET 40, I won't need them! :)

Going back to S1 PTU - for a while
Well, as my previous PTU didn't go wrong and to be honest, they don't fail as much as you'd be led to believe, I'm going back to a series 1 PTU until I order a brand new loom from wiring specialities. The S2 PTU and harness are damn ugly. I had thought about chopping up the sub-harness, but since there are still quite a few people still rocking an S1 PTU, I'm just going to stick mine back on there and have nice tidy wiring for a while! Who else is still using their S1 PTU?

JaiKai - Full rebuild & Respray
So what do you think you're missing. Unless the plugs have been cut, it should just 'plug and play'?

Veilside Wheels **Refurb Update**
The centres were powdercoated, the barrels were bare polished. It was the barrels that I had to polish every single time I washed it. lol
