  1. Was it these? http://blog.ktm-x.com/?month=201409
  2. As many know, tyre companies don't really standardise on tread width and profile. I'm finding it REALLY difficult to get tyres to fit my wheels that have zero stretch on them or a bulge. I can't stand stretched tyres and don't want this look at all! When my wheels came over from Japan, they had 275 30 19 on the rear 10" wheel and 245 35 19 on the front 9" wheel. Now the law of tyre fitting suggests that a 10" wheel should take between a 275 and 285. But since my rear wheel had what looked like a lot of stretch on it, I thought I'd try a 295 to see how close that was. Well, that was a little too big, but only just and I've gone for some 285 30 19 which are on their way (doing this all with part worns until I get the sizing correct). So the fronts arrived today. A 255 35 19 which should give me a much flatter front tyre wall in my 9" wheel.....only I've fitted that and it looks near identical to the 245 that was on it before...ie, it has stretch. Anyone else had this issue before? It's starting to annoy me.
  3. As if the Micra wasn't ugly enough....

  5. When spigot rings get 'technical'! Just had these in from BBS. Glad they're still available. Regular size-matched spigot rings won't fit. These slot in and have a circlip too!
  6. Buy them as a pair Si.
  7. Unless you're going big power, the stock filter is very good. Just replace it with a new one.
  8. I don't think they pay shit at the moment, they don't have any monies!
  9. You could be worse, you could be Greek!
  10. You'd better go!!
  11. But you are NA... :wack: ;)
  12. Don't lose the AC. Makes no noticable difference to performance what so ever. Worth it on a track car if you're doing it on a fully stripped down version, but on a road car, a waste of time removing it all.
  13. Nice work!!!!! :) Can't beat new wheels!
  14. I have these (on the front)! They save my paint and rear wheels from 'incoming'. They're very discrete too.
  15. 8? You're ****ing useless! :p
  16. The inner wing is the inner wing, it isn't an arch liner. Basically, the metal panel work behind that. On the rear arch, the inner wing is the actual wheel well panel that is spot welded to the wheel arch lip. The fronts don't really have an 'inner wing' as such, but the structural panel work behind and the sheet steel wheel well is considered the inner wing.
  17. 295 30 19 I bought these to check for fitment only (little too wide). They were part-worns, never had a puncture. Ideal for 10.5" and 11" wheels Sidewalls not marked at all. £50 collected, or I can deliver for a small cost in southern England if I can plan a schedule around it.
  18. After 12 original coilpack bolts please. They need to be rust free and damage free (no twist damage on the heads and no thread damage). Don't care about the finish as I will be getting them replated. New ones come a horrible olive drab. Thankoooo. :)
  19. Viscous fan IS good, however if you wanted a good powerful electric fan, you need to get something from an OEM. Something the Americans do is fit the e-fan from a Ford F150. The stuff you can get on eBay and most other outlets in this country generally is only catering to the 4-cylinder FWD market. Personally, I'd leave it as it is. No point in getting an eFan 'just because you can'. Jaffa has an eFan...well, 2 of them and a radiator in the rear the size of Newport Pagnell!!
  20. I've just bought an arch roller. I need to fettle the front slightly. I'd do the rears on mine myself (just the lips) and did a really good job. Might start doing it a little more (to others' cars).
  21. They've been NLS for years now, so you can't buy them new. I wouldn't pay that for them, but I don't think it's too OTT. Mondo got a bargain! Phutumusch has a number of these too.
  22. There is and these are them. They're actually from a late spec Terrano 2 as discovered by yours truly in 2006. :)
  23. There's a member on this site who's selling. Not me though. Seller is Baz. They're actually fetching strong money, the yanks will easily pay that for them! I wouldn't though, but that's because I was the first person to discover these and therefore I have a set. :) The handles are chrome plated cast aluminium, not plastic.
