Nice seat covers from z32-zone.com
go to the web site http://www.z32-zone.com And go to err one of the links on the left in japanese  They do all sorts of colours with different angles. The site does a lot fine stuff you cant get in uk. I am going to get some seat covers, double din centre console. The site has an ordering system that supports deliveries to EU. Myself i am going to get a quote on site and get a confirmation email. £6 delivery for seat covers sounds too good.

headlamp cleaning
I finaly manged to get my headlamps off.. but i did'nt remove the inside furthest bolt. I removed the headlamp from the inside black rail thingy.with some drilling! But it the headlamp will mount back on the rails fine and secured with a screw. Manged to get the headlamp glass cover off ok. But i need something to disolve all the grey sealant because its very icky and tough to remove, anything i could apply to the grey goop to make it go runny? Also the spotlight chamber thingy has a oval glass lens thing which i will clean like the big glass cover. But why has this lens got a big u shaped object in front of it to obscure it. Can i remove it to get more headlamp power? Scott - captain driller :wack:

Dismantling brake calipers for painting
I had the thought of painting my drab grey front and rear brake calipers red with the nissan logo in white. But the 300zx server manual often mentions do not remove x bolts from the calipers. Can i dismantle the brake calipers to just the housing to paint them red?

double din dash
I have a double din Pioneer stereo that i have fitted by hacksawing off the centre divider between the two din sliots. It looks a bit messy but the stereo fits fine.

size of spare wheel space?
Mine is probably in a garage in Kobe somewhere. never got one with my jap import, got the jack though in the polystryrene case thing.

maybe now its time to get/import a 350z?
I love the 300zx's aggressive classic GT looks. 350z is nice but looks too inoffensive, built for today's world - i want to stand out.. well actually i don't really, give me a carebear 'retro' car.

size of spare wheel space?
Mine is a swb.

Any one seen this?
3.8LZ with 385HP, very nice. I suppose then my SWB TT 300zx looses its title as fasted Z car to date.

best boost controller to have ?
The all singing and dancing Greddy EC01 is highly rated. Costs around £380. I have a more regular Greddy Profec IIB that is the same size of a zed clock, cost £230 plus £80 fitting. It does the job fine as i dont do any indepth analysis of how the turbo's are performing which the uber EC01 allows.

size of spare wheel space?
.. as my zed is lowered.

size of spare wheel space?
My spare wheel is a space saver and though i have not tried it, if i put that ickle excuse for a car wheel on im sure the front of my car will hit the ground lol.

If a zed has more grunt how does it get to 190mph with a stock gearbox and ratios? I am curious about this as AFAIK a stock zed and gearbox can do 176mph.

All time low price of Z's
My king of the road feeling is not diminished when i see a new Mazda RX8 that cost £25000 and i know my twee zed is worth £5k. I feel good that i have a bargin. I have no plans at all to get mine replaced. Which helps me rationalise spending £3000 a year on fuel lol.

Batterys
I measured the dimensions of my factory panasonic one and got a 700A one from halfords that fitted fine.

loss of power
might be faulty lamda\o2 sensors or a leaky intercooler.. or a leak in the turbo system piping.

Need to remove standard air filter
Air filter is out m'lud. Its the feckin headlamps im having grief with and the last evil bolt in the inside far corner

Need to remove standard air filter
Aye i stumbled on that guide. Not to hard to take out. Remove top half of air filter box. Remove the pair of filters. Then with the extra leverage room remove the two screws that are out of side at the bottom right and left of the air filter. I then removed the big fan in a jiffy. But that underside headlamp bolt in the far corner omfg! I have not removed either of left or right headlamp one. Its very confusing. I have a 12mm spanner with a rachet action on it. I think i put it all on and start turning it off. But the bugger does not move one bit. At the moment after cursing the bolt i am inclined the drill the bleedin thing out. I dont get why a spanner or socket seems firmly on the bolt but when i turn it clockwise.. it does not really turn.

steam from passengers side near battery
Well when i drove my dad's Citroen Xantia once there was lots of white smoke and the electrics going weird.. then failed. This was down to a faulty alternator.

Newbie from Japan...
Welcome, im curious what is the opinion of the 300zx in native Japan? No one dislikes the 300zx in the uk but for some reason its far cheaper than a skyline.. not that i want a skyline :)
