  1. I have some £20 ebay Alpine 6x4's in the rear. Problem is with non factory ones (which are awfull) is that the mounting holes are off. But i was happy to mount mine with two per speaker holes across a diagonal.
  2. Ghosts like a drink and a smoke like all of us. Maybe you could have a game of cards with it.
  3. I am using my Conzult on a mates zed but i lost my full version of the software and am using the freeware stripped down version. Where can i get my mits on the full version. I can provide my Conzult SN.
  4. I have secured the number plate to the front bumper with a couple of M8 screws and bolts but when drilling one hole it made two facture tears on the front about 2" long, grr. Might need a sticky pad at the top as it waggles about but maybe the front air pressure will force it back :wack:
  5. Well i have had two number plates with the sticky pads and they have both fell off. I feel a right wally getting home and lo there is no front number plate. I shall drill the plate and bolt it with spacers to the front bumper. Did think about a front sticker number plate on the nose but that would look crap.
  6. Umm if i put some tape over the number plate and drill a hole in will it fracture? It seems to be made of fibre glass typey stuff.
  7. At the moment my square number plate is attached to a stock zed from bumper with folded off industrial sticky tape and it looks crap, sags :( I need some bracket or anything short of super glue that will fix it good and proper to the bumper..?
  8. Count me in. I am back on the road :)
  9. I had a green square sticker on the top middle on my import SWB TT. I think it is for Jap car registration.
  10. You zed is still not sorted at £8200 spent. Dude just get a decent one for £3.5K.
  11. I will go to shows. Once i get a job. After getting the zed on the road i have £100 to my name. Petrol for the zed is more important than bread and water ;)
  12. At last, after 8 months of the road my precious 300ZX SWB TT on the road fully legal. Got new HKS exhaust from dta motorsport, shipped from Japan. Got new Apexi induction kit, spangly clear front indicators, front HID kit and the car is much more trim. New ICE soldering wiring loom to replace diastertron halfords connector blocks lol. Was lavely taking it for a leisurely spin with the exhaust going WHALLLBBUBUBUB :nana2:
  13. I work in IT as its very stimulating with good pay. I would also be happy if i stayed with my dad on a building site. Office life can really suck, its like life on acid. Good people turned into twats. I like to smirk at sales people and recruitment consultants. Go earn that big dollar and let your heart rot. Wahey flamage thread. Feel like im on one of my computer game forums. I hardly play up but this thread is so absurd its funny :)
  14. wooo. I will give £400 for it. Keep me posted :)
  15. Right i am now after a new full 300ZX TT SWB exhaust system that makes a big noise. But they are very rare. Blueflame who are very good i hear can do one for £800. But i have seen TT performance exhausts on flea bay for £300. I want a nice growly exhaust system for less than £400..?
  16. I have a 20 squid 12V solar panel from maplins to trickle charge the battery. No more dead battery if i leave the car idle for a week :)
  17. Trying to remove a rusted pair of back boxes on my SWB TT and by heck the bolts wont budge. Thing is cos i am working under the jacked up car i cant get a good angle with the uber bar i use for getting wheel bolts off. Any ideas?
  18. Gagh bleedin MOT centres. They thought my HID headlamps were normal ones on full beam too. Well not yet given the car a full checkout of all the MOT failures. Once i know exactly what was wrong or not i will sort it.
  19. I know the entire TT exhaust system is incompatible with the SWB cuz the car is longer! But, can i use a nearside TT backbox and the 2 ft pipe that comes out of it to the down pipes in a SWB? Money is to tight to go for my dream blueflame exhaust at the moment and i have to replace a backbox as a pipe going into it has a big dent which failed the MOT
  20. I would not compromise on fog lights. Some dumbass could fly into my arse on a road without one. I like speed with perfect conditions but their are some right assclowns dont slow down in really bad conditions.
  21. PM'ed you dude. Well i have a rear fog and a switch just need to wire them lol. They did work till i started my 3 week turned into 6 month upgrade project!
  22. Right i have a new switch that fits nicely in the hole, I have replaced the blown 10A fuse but i dont know which friggin wires to connect. Can someone purleez tell me what wires under the gear stick, platic cover thingy to connect.
  23. You guys rock :nana2:
  24. Lost my rear fog switch for my jap zed, argh! Just before MOT as well. I am now not sure what connections go into the switch. I will get another from Maplins tomorrow. Is the switch regular spade connectors or is it a fancy nissan connector? Need to know wiring colours as i did try a switch which blew a fuse, duh!
  25. Even the smallest turbo leak will nail engine performance to a dribble so you can just about drive the car home. Well did for me after i crashed it. Slight dink in intercooler and the whole engine went to like 60hp lol. I disconnected the lead from the MAF so it was still bloody awful but barely drivable
