  1. I like the Fiat Multipla :and the Lada Riva ) Its boring cars i hate like the current Vectra and Mondeo. Rover 75 is fugly.
  2. My import zed TT has started every time - from -5C to 32C. It runs like a pussycat around town and could idle up the face of a cliff in first with the foot of the throttle. Changing the oil every 3000 miles helps and not ragging it all the time.
  3. Zero rust on my import but i really dont like the stippled, bubbly like finish on the sils below the doors and at the bottom of the rear bumper... yes i am sure its not rust either heh. My dad had a Citroen BX that though never rusted had the bonnet and roof fade to a lighter shade of red than the rest of the body.
  4. Very nice. A Noble GTR for about £30K is a far more affordable proposition and that goes like greased lightining too.
  5. I shall try 'no more nails' Thing with the evo stick timebond is that it takes to long to do its stuff. So i get cramp in my hands tightly pinching vinyl for minutes trying to get it over a curve with no ripples.
  6. Yo yo and thrice yo I am replacing the tweed in my interior with red vinyl. Getting the knack of it but the t-piece that is inbetween the seats is not regular plastic but fibreboard. And the Evostick timebond stuff i am wont grip to the fibreboad. What else could i use. I think Araldite would be to expensive for the small amount you get.
  7. Thankfully my zed has been fine in the hot weather. And last sunday when i was crawling out of Fairford airshow it didnt overheat :) Thing is though that i have never seen the temp needle go above half.
  8. The Fiat Coupe is a fine car but every owner of one i have come across has their head stuck up their derrier.
  9. I really like that, its so stupid its great :)
  10. I prefer working to being a student. Money and at 5pm i can switch off. I hated having assignment work on my mind when i was trying to chill out.
  11. I did computer science at UCE in Birmingham and hated the last two years. What was taught was so out of date it was more like Computing History. Still i persevered just so i could go nightclubbing 4 times a week for not a lot of money :)
  12. With my new electronic boost controller i can leave it off with the engine in safety boost and now i can get 255 miles to a full tank instead of 240 - cor!
  13. Autoroute 2006 is good with GPS, has an american female voice for turn by turn directions and a very handy blue bar that tells you how close you are to the next turn. General problem though with LCD displays in the summer is that u cant see a frickin thing in bright daylight on the monitor.
  14. I can listen to most types but not country music or 'modern R&B' bleugh! I mostly listen to dance and classic rock.
  15. That looks fookin awfull. Really bad lol.
  16. The Nissan supplied oil filter is only £6.50. So i got 4 as i change my oil every 3000 miles.

When i pay with ebay is paypal or nothing.
  18. I will give that Jap method a go. I dont fancy spending hours to take them apart.
  19. This is my joke: Q: what is the most dangerous item in a house according to ROSPA? A: A beanbag Q: What kills more people every year than a shark? A: Coconuts Ergo - If you sitting on a beanbag under a palm tree your a dead man BOOM BOOM!
  20. My parents sold two houses easily and quickly without an estate agent. Put an add in the local paper that did property. But that was before the internet. I wonder if people are prepared to dig through a newspaper when there is rightmove. Btw rightmoves location based search really pisses me off, totaly inaccurate.

Last year i got a SWB manual TT from Japan imported. All in cost for £5800. Which is a lot more than most zeds but i got a 6 month warranty with it that gave me piece of mind. Alas there are lots of bad zeds for sale. Often by dodgey high street car sellers. Its a total false economy to get one that has 'a few things wrong'. Get a good one. If you do around 250 miles a week you will spend £5000 a year at least on the fecker anyway hehe.
