  1. Yep if your not bothered about keeping up with the jones's u can get a really decent saloon for less than a grand or two. Or you can get a zed for less than 5K and feel like you own the road :)
  2. I think its gorgeous, ah well vive la difference :)
  3. Ah it aint a photoshop, good work by that ruskie :)
  4. This is one sexy looking 300ZX. Might be a photoshop though. http://www.asjornal.ru/artic06/tun06_11.shtml
  5. I dont like nice but dim Tony Blair. Dont belive David Camerons fluffy bunny image one bit. He will swing right once in power. At least Labour does not totaly screw up the economy like before. I would pay for a 2p raise in income tax if we had a space program
  6. Yep motion activated webcam is the way to go.
  7. My zed is wine red, the original orange indicators suit it well i think :)
  8. When i picked up my zed last year from the importers my jaw nearly fell off when i first saw it. Congratulations dude :)
  9. Air bubbles in the hydraulics up to the clutch slave unit under the gearbox can cause a spongy feel in first gear and a lower clutch bite. Despite me bleeding the gearbox hydraulics 3 times i still have a bit of air in it. But its not to bad at the moment.
  10. oops a daisy forgot you was Mr Conzult heh
  11. If you lower the suspension from standard you need to adjust the front and probably the rear camber. The front can be done with shims on the upper suspension arm at the front or with adjustable links, which is what i did. Shims are around £50 and adjustable links around £200. For rear adjustable links are around £140. I dont think you can get shims to do the rear.
  12. When i first got my zed i didnt realise that the bigger tyres often dont look deflated when they have less than 20psi or even 15psi. I was driving my zed and the front right tyre came of the rim duh! I check pressure twice a week now with a simple rod thingy pressure gauge. They are not super accurate but i will know if a tyre has not enough pressure.
  13. Most magazine car journalists talk out of their arses. There was a small magazine for bangers that was funny though, that was years ago though.
  14. Argh! always treat your zed to the best tyres. And it wont break the bank. The good tyres can be had for around £75 each.
  15. With the zed being a uber highly stressed car should a major service be every 12 months or 10k miles?
  16. I got the £220 adjustable front camber arms from the zcentre. They do the job with fine adjustment. As per instructions i greased them to death with Castrol LM grease.
  17. Umm im not sure about the SUV thing, trying to get some info
  18. the chassis for the 350z has been used for other cars including a SUV *spit*
  19. Well when its time to walk the walk i bet most poncy supercar owners cop out from a challenge to race a zed. For some odd reason everytime i overtake a Volvo S80 barge they race me.
  20. Id say my luvly zed is a supercar. Its built from the ground up using little sharing components from other cars (Lotus Esprit = British Leyland tat remember). The zeds suspension and layout is very deserving of the supercar tag.
  21. Going from a previous ding dong about someone buying an engine. Dont belieive than an engine is 100% unless it has been rebuilt by the person selling it and it has a warranty with it.
  22. Rightousness can be had withwww.moneyclaim.gov.uk 95% of these claims are never pursued by this service as almost every retailer relents and sorts it to the consumers satisfaction. You can rattle the cage of the Nissan dealer for only £15.
  23. Yo yo and thrice yo My jap import zed was lowered. But when i got it it didnt not have the camber sorted accordingly. I have since sorted this for the front with adjustable upper suspension links. But the rear tyres still has a rather excessive negative camber. Ive read that the rear camber can be tweaked a little. But is this little enough to correct camber if the car is lowered to 5" of the ground. If not what gubbings do i need to get to have good control over the rear tyres camber. I have replaced the bloody awfull Bridgestone X-Grid tyres on the front with some uber Falken 451's now its the rear tyres turn but i need to sort the camber first. Once i get the handling sharp and good i will get an Andy P ECU chip and induction kit so i can crank up the boost on my Profec IIB to 14psi muahaha
  24. Can you run a andy P chip on 'safety boost'- 5/6 psi? I would like to run my zed at minimum boost on my Profec IIB in 'off' mode then have the two settings at lo->9psi and one for hi->14psi
  25. I dont have much experience with different high performance ttyres but when i went from my original dire Bridgestone X-Grid to Falken 451's the improvement was immense. My zed now grips the road going around tight bend where before it was like a Cortina on a bad day.
