  1. You could always upload it to yousendit.com sending it to yourself and post the link on here for peeps.
  2. Lol, I am but not trying to do a sales pitch! Depends what you are looking for really as mine isn't a cheap one :) Its in the for sale section under 'highly modified zed maybe for sale'. Its deffo for sale as I've got the yellow rx7 now, but it's only been advertised on the forums at the moment as I'm still driving it reguarly. Its a very nice one if I might say so myself!
  3. Many happy returns Jay!
  4. The Zed looks (IMO) like a pretty average zed that hasn't had anything renewed. It'll probably need a k or two spent to get it driving like it should be. They are going around 2-3k on here at the moment so I guess its how much you think the gallant is worth? Auto trader is selling gallants like yours for around £1.5-2k by the looks of it so maybe it makes sense. Its easier for a trader to sell a gallant than a Zed. Just remember that for a stock zed of that age you'll need to spend money and there's nothing pointing to the fact any money has been spent on that one already. Maybe its worth considering selling your gallant yourself and considering some of the zeds on here in the for sale section? they are a better bet than one from a dealers. Buying a 16yr old stock zed is a bit of a minefield!
  5. I must admit I was considering getting a new PC just so I could get something like that and use it to learn race tracks like the Ring. Do you think its worthwhile?
  6. I was hoping we'd go through to the final, that way the roads would be clear and I could go out in my Zed while everyone else watches the games!
  7. Most autoboxes are ready to give up the ghost at around 80k, although some go on for ever if they've been drove like a granny (unlikely!). 1k plus to recondition. A good nick auto box can take a fair bit of power, but if its the standard original box then chances are you'll be helping it on its way to failure. Its much cheaper to buy an uprated clutch (smithy does rps ones for £350ish??). Manual boxes are generally a lot more desirable, but some people like autos. My first Zed was an automatic and I personally would never consider one again. IMO you buy a zed because you want an involving drive, not to have auto gearbox, cruise control and all the other gubbins. Dave
  8. Its a common problem mate. If you do a search you'll find lots of posts.
  9. It probably wont be a problem for you at this time of year but for any later on journeys should should consider A different air filter (eg apexi, or even stock). The HKS mushrooms are really bad for sucking in water and blowing the MAF. I've actually put mine back on again as I think it flows better than the apexi but I keep the apexi in the boot in case of rain. Other things are all the usual maintainance stuff: Change the oil before and after the trip Change the collant as said Check your tyres and tyre pressure The engine is supposed to idle higher until it warms up a little when you start up.
  10. Imagine that, you could buy 5 zeds a week and still have change for a skyline!
  11. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4209601446239649192 Look at this one as well!
  12. Bloody hell, have we got to the quarter finals?! Are we playing any good or are we just scaping through by fluke as usual? ps - Is it obvious we don't watch tv?
  13. Yeah, i can imagine thats the case mate. I'm deffo out there next year. Was thinking about doing it this year but the cash has gone on some high performance driving instruction which I'm doing on monday and tuesday with John Lyon. Should be really worthwhile I reckon. Dave
  14. I bought a 550bhp rx7 to make the zed petrol economy look cheap and good value. Now I get to drive a zed to work and its cheap(er) on my wallet lol!
  15. Well my balance is pretty damn good, and I can stand on one leg while scratching my arse all day. I crewed a yacht in the tall ships race and puked for 3 weeks solid! Might have been all the alcohol and debauched goings on that contributed to it though !
  16. You can replace them, but I don't think they are cheap :(
  17. Happy birthday matey!
  18. MinesTT: I put a link to a great vid on the other thread mate. Think you'll like it if you havn't already seen it. Dave
  19. http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=3347E1456FA6F58D This vid has been posted before but its one of my favourites. The guy (porshe test driver/racer) is chucking it sideways on every corner and huge speeds. Awesome driving.
  20. Lmao again, never mind car snobbery Steve. Its horrific!
  21. Yep, sounds about normal. On motorways I get about 300miles to a £60 tank. Around town I get about 200 miles.
  22. JD z had an uprated engine for sale, search under ' Uprated engine and lots of other bits!!!!!!!!!!!' for the thread.
  23. Free to any home:- My missus! she likes that abortion of a kit car! She's got to go!!!!
