Wish I'd known that 7 or 8 yrs ago in basic training, we had to have everything folded A4 in our lockers! I hated it, it took ages. As soon as I finished basic, my locker reverted to its usual car-boots sale special.

We didn't make many enquiries TBH, it was just a passing query. We were considering it as a way onto the housing market as its so hard to start off. I think we're going to keep our eyes out for a self renovation project in cornwall, or something similar near the coast somewhere (anywhere!).I deperately want to get back to the surf as I like the active lifestyle. Its hard to balance lifestyle and career eh?

Sounds like a good idea, nothing like some wide dishes to make the beast look sexy! Maybe you could fit uprated suspension when you lower it, and stillen anti-roll bars. They'll make a massive difference to the handling. I'm up for doing that to mine at the moment.

If they are oem then the ends may be knackered. They split and fall apart so don't seal properly. You can't really see the damage until you remove them and realise that they wont bend back on again properly.

I've just been looking at the pictures in your rides (which look better than your sig by the way IMO). I reckon you're getting a bit schizophrenic with what you want and what you have. Your zed looks very classy and expensive sports car like, I think making it look more 'street racer' will make it look cheap. Its got immaculate looking paint work, a tasty interior and a load of ICE. Street racer look is stripped out and tatty looking likes its been drifted round Japanese mountains. F&F isn't street racer its Max power IMO. Stick with the look you have, maybe some clear side lights, it looks a great zed.

Hijacked another thread with this earlier but thought I'd put it seperately. Does anyone know what sort of price a car trailor would go for. Obviously it would have to take a low slung performance car (zed/rx7). Also any advice on what type I should look for, and is it possible to tow with a decent car or would I need a 4*4? Thanks Dave

Has anyone fitter one of these in their Zed? I reckon it would be well worthwhile. I've got one in the rx7 (seem to be standard upgrade for rx7 people to sort fueling ,etc). I absolutely swear by it. Its got everything on screen: intake air temp, coolant temp, inj duty, knock sensor, speed, the lot. IMO its much better than having millions of dials and screens everywhere blocking your view. In particular the a pillar pod which I find annoying. If you consider you spend £130 on a greddy/defi gauge times four (egi temp, boost, air temp, water temp) plus fitting and extra sensors it is just as much as the £500 odd squids for the apexi FC and a setup session.
