  1. I'll get the missus to drive one :) Lets drift: not sure when? Whenever sounds good really!
  2. How awesome is this?!
  3. Is anyone up for a joint Zed and Rotary meet at Halfway house (north of canvey island)? The guy I got my rex off of suggested it earlier and it sounds like a good idea. Dave
  4. Ok mate, nice one. I've not got any cash at the moment so I guess it depends on if the zed sells. Any chance you could send some phots and a description to david at naturalhorsemanagement dot com ? Thanks.
  5. Oh mate, that sucks. W*nkers! Havn't heard from you in a while. Sorry to see this mate. You been up to much? When you say estranged wife do you mean the one you were referring to when I met you or an old one?
  6. The gauges are notoriously rubbish mate. They often don't show the correct readings. Also the pressure will change depending on whether you are driving hard or at idle. So long as its pulling ok and isn't doing anything out of character or losing oil then I wouldn't worry too much. Especially as you are using it to commute you should get to know what the car does. Its much better than using once in a blue moon and not being sure if its ok. A good thing to do would be to get an aftermarket pressure gauge fitted? I got an aftermarket one fitter but it didn't get plumbed in due to needing a sender unit. In the end I got to know the engine so well I wasn't that bothered and still havn't done it. It is a new engine though.
  7. I would do if that was possible. Problem is the timings for this job can't be moved due to the client and other jobs being done. I have very flexible work times normally, as long as I do the time it doesn't matter when and I can arrange days as I want. Problem is the other end of the stick is that I need to make myself available for things like this. Hopefully I'll be finished early though. Dave
  8. Ah! not long then, I usually get it a few days before its in the shops as well. Can't wait to see the feature.
  9. No because the call is initiated at there end.
  10. Havn't heard anything yet mate, somebody asked bryn in the thread but he said to speak to the mag as they hold the copy right. I think Bryn is freelance.
  11. I never realised how cheap they were. £60 for the rear two and £75 for the front. Thats not bad really is it? Smithy does the adjustable KYB ones for £300 which seems very good. I always like to take the opportunity to upgrade to better ones. I'm probably going to get these next month.
  12. Oh fair one then. I havn't seen any media comment on it. I thought it was funny though! I get frustrated watching them fall over like pansies all the time looking for free kicks!
  13. Must be time for this issue by now! Is it here yet mum? I get it early on subscription as well but it seems to be taking ages. Hope its because Bryn has been working very hard on the feature!
  14. I bet the Italian was being a pr*ck though. From what I can tell Zidane is normally quite a chilled and respected bloke (may be wrong). The Italian most have done something to make him do that.
  15. The cafe is on the foundry end of town, past the Philps pasty shop but before the viaduct. Great place.
  16. The gods arn't smiling on me either, I've just been told I need to work on the saturday :( Hopefully I'll be finished on time to drive down for the evening but its quite a major job I've got to do. Dave
  17. Pmsl! Sounds like an average day to me....
  18. Good work matey, can't wait to see it. Dave
  19. What price range are you looking at mate? The best place is usually the for sale ads on here as you know the history then. I'd recommend getting one that has already had all the usual areas upgraded as otherwise it will cost money yourself to have them done. There are lots of posts with advice on here for new buyers. Let us know what you are looking for and you'll be pointed in the right direction. Dave
  20. I didn't watch any of the games this time, although I enjoy it when some good teams are playing I was always busy. But looks like the only time I don't watch something interesting happens! :
  21. Lol! oh well, can't win. Such a sticky subject. Do you Zaine who works in the cafe 'fresh' in Hayle? Him and his family are top people, if you are in Hayle say hello for me and I'd highly recommend the food in the cafe.
  22. happy birthday dude! Maybe chunk has converted his slicktop to a convertable and needs to waterproof it with something?!
  23. You can tell you're down in Cornwall Jon!! only place in the UK where its unusual to see coloured folk! 'You aint from round ere are you son?' :smash:
