  1. Nice one Smithy. Get the kettle on dude! I hope the weather is good.
  2. Just booked myself on an Isle of Man trip with the rotary lot. £150 for the ferry and around £50 for the circuit depending on numbers. Its looking very likely that we'll be able to close the mountain road (TT track) especially for us!! F*ckin awesome! Is anyone here interested? I can see if they mind, and the added numbers will ensure the mountain roads get closed for us.
  3. There's a slim chance I'll be in North Wales around this date, if so I'll try to come to this as well. Dave
  4. http://www.driftworks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20223 Check this out! Looks very interesting eh? has the RB20DET in as standard.

Congratulations mate! Made up for you. Dave
  6. Cheers guys, I'm not going anywhere anyhow! If anything I like the 300 even more now. Until looking at other cars I just liked the 300 and didn't care about others. Now that I've drove some others I really appreciate how good a drivers car the 300 is. I really think the Zed has been unfairly overshadowed by the Skyline and similar car, and also the fact that the cheap ones have so many problems now with age. Its good in some ways though because there's absolutely nothing that compares to a good zed in the 5 to 8k price range. Maybe an R32 skyline but they just dont look as good as the zed, and you couldn't get a highly modded r32 for anything less than 8k or more.
  7. Thats awesome! I want one.
  8. We're not just the rough and ready handsome type, we're also clever bugg*rs :) although determination to carry on working to the bitter end is probably a better description!
  9. Sorry havn't read all of thread but you are filling it at the rad cap arn't you? you don't fill from the overflow plastic bottle bit.
  10. Was considering that Andy, Should have the full CCNP by the winter, and I've got some firewall work that I'm doing in a couple of weeks so it'll be good to get more into that side of things. I'll probably be getting VOIP work soon as we are offering it to clients worldwide now. I'll probably decide which direction to go once the CCNP is finished, but security is the most likely. VOIP will be handy experience to have on top.
  11. I'll get pictures when I get home
  12. Picture of T-Pot looking like a mean dude ahahha
  13. Slick pete has a full page A BIG picture of chunk looking cuddly :) according to the missus!
  14. Weehehe mines at home waiting for me now, just getting the missus to open it and have a look. ............... Its got a DVD she says? ..... Sounds good, missus says she looks aweful haha, car looks good. No way! the slippery banana is in it to haha Both my cars in the same issue!!!
  15. If you already do some Soho type networking and understand ip addressing its a good start mate. Have you done any other certifications? lots of people tend to do the microsoft stuff and then move into Cisco. They do it by getting into a job that is primarily network/desktop troubleshooting or building with a little cisco in there as well. Then start to specialise in the cisco after passing the CCNA. CCNA is the way in, its harder than the microsoft exams but if you can get your head around advanced ip addressing (just requires a bit of practice) then you are half the way to passing the exam. I did this when I left the Marines and got myself a specialist network engineer job and started working towards my CCNP. I've put a huge amount of time into studying over the past year and a half . Quite literally every single day. I passed my MCSA and CCNA last year before leaving the Marines (each one in about 3mths) and have been working on the CCNP stuff since then. I find it fascinating but maybe I'm just a bit of a geek!
  16. As above (Its a computer networking qualification). Been working my ars* off for months so glad I managed to pass it. Got the switching exam in a few weeks and then have to study for the remote access and trouble shooting ones. Should mean a good payrise next year whether at this company or another. Dave
  17. Owowow, Hope mine is in the post tomorrow! Need to get it before Rodders picks the Zed up!!
  18. Without meaning to throw water on the fire, there's a guy on SXOC who had a similar problem and the insurance company wouldn't let him buy it back. He did manage to arrange a time to go and remove the mods that he had put in though. Deffo don't let the insurance company take it anywhere.
  19. Haha nice one!!
  20. Nature of performance cars eh Neil? Rodders has done well out of it as did I when I bought it as the previous couple of owners have spent 10-15k on it. Plus my rx7 has had double that put into it so I suppose I havn't lost anything in the long run. End of the day we're still paying around 5k for cars that were 40k so can't really complain!
  21. Jesus mate, thats bad. Hope everything gets sorted and the person responisble gets found. I stick to four wheels after so many of my mates have had similar things happen to them.
  22. Brilliant post mate, really good vids. Looks like he's got some serious brakes as he seems to be able to brake later than the black skyline?
  23. Well done Yas! good on you mate. Bet you're chuffed its finished. Dave
  24. Feck , I've got it. Need to find some W.I.N.E !
