  1. That's interesting to read.... :whistling:
  2. DVLA has no record of it, so I'm guessing it's either been off the road for a lot of years or is simply no longer with us....
  3. You'll have to let me know where you'll be storing your glass..... :whistling:
  4. Didn't you remove the door handles for painting, mate...?
  5. ^^^ What a shed!! Someone buy it for FunkySi for Christmas...
  6. Mine's a Series 1, mate, and everything worked perfectly when I upgraded to an S2 pod and ECU.
  7. That honestly just looks like a rattle-can job, Andy! Really really poor workmanship! Sorry to see/hear it hasn't turned out anywhere near as good as it should've done...! :(
  8. You've earned it, buddy!
  9. Aaaaanyway: as I said, Eddie - if you fancy a ride up to County Durham, we can get your Zed on Consult and see if we can find any issues lurking around. :thumbup1:
  10. Don't be so sensitive, newbie....
  11. I was simply advising a new member with an issue that's clearly worrying him to choose his information sources wisely, that's all.
  12. In all honesty, I'd much prefer you leaving the tech advice to people who have knowledge regarding what they're talking about. :thumbup1:
  13. Be careful taking tech advice from a 10 year old with access to Google, Eddie... ;) If you fancy a run up to County Durham, I have the full Consult software here so we could plug your Zed in and see what's what.
  14. All sorted now. :) Forum life is much better now :thumbup1:
  15. Does the forum software have the facility for a member to set another member to "ignored" at all? So you don't have to read their posts?
  16. Nice to see my old exhaust again. :) I'm a little confused though... if it's an NA manual, why hasn't it already got an NA diff....?
  17. I have a local mechanic who I've known for years. He knows his apples, is incredibly thorough and he's worked on a variety of exotic cars over the years with no issues whatsoever. And I still travelled to Lee Dent in Shrewsbury to have my timing belt done! Honestly Steve, I can't stress enough how much it's worth it to use someone with intimate knowledge of these cars, regardless of how expensive or inconvenient the journey may be. :thumbup1:
  18. Can I like this more than once? Great news, pal :thumbup1:
  19. I feel your pain, Andy. My respray last year was sub-par in quite a few places too. Sad to see, especially when you were so looking forward to having your Slickie gleaming at the end of it all! :(
  20. In a week or so, I'll be removing my existing covers and replacing them with new ones. That means that these will be up for grabs if anyone's interested. PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE JUST THE COVERS! THE RECARO SEATS ARE NOT FOR SALE! So, a little bit of history on these. The leather is Andrew Muirhead Sateen Virginia - genuine Scottish leather that's normally used in Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley and Lotus cars, as well as British Airways First Class cabins. It's seriously top-notch stuff. :) The Alcantara is the closest shade I could find to match or compliment the leather. These seats have seen maybe 1.5k miles since they were fitted in May last year so everything's in good condition. There's no rubbing or piling on the Alcantara anywhere, which just confirms the small amount of use these seats have seen. There is the option of having the rest of the interior made up to match, but be aware that it'd be expensive! These materials are not cheap by any means! Oh yeah, these seats won the "Best Interior" award at the AGM earlier this year too... ;) :thumbup1:
  21. It sounds like your other fan is running then. Time to check some electrical connections as mentioned previously, mate.
  22. Is the fan running when you turn the ignition on (but don't start the engine)?
  23. Gumtree link An interesting advert, to say the least... I had no idea that the LWB model was such a rarity in the Z32 world! Now, my Zed's no slouch, but I know for a fact that it WON'T keep up with an Audi R8 - I tried, believe me... Fairly local to me, this one.
  24. Excellent news, mate. Glad it's all sorted for you now. :thumbup1:
