  1. I'm not sure anyone's gonna advocate that, mate!!
  2. As far as I know, there wouldn't be any official recognition of the change in odometer reading. An MOT tester would presumably enter the reading as miles unless you told him otherwise.
  3. Is that this Sunday...? Hmmm...
  4. Teacher stabbed to death in front of classroom full of pupils! Just a horrible, sickening story and a sadly indicative state of the UK (and the world) today... the vast majority of today's "youth" have no respect and even less clue how to be part of society! I despair, I truly do... :( :(
  5. 345mm slotted Brembo discs, caliper relocation brackets and all the associated nuts and bolts (all brand spanking new) :) I simply couldn't pass it up when I saw it at such a steal (in my opinion) of a price!! :gunsmilie:
  6. Off eBay? I did, yeah - couldn't pass 'em up! :D
  7. Some 345mm front brakes arrived today!! :thumbup1:
  8. Mrs Mondo's dad has 1 and 2 boxsets and I bought Season 3 about a month ago, so we're all up to speed and looking forward to Monday nights more than ever!
  9. I got Sky TV for the sole reason of being able to watch Season 4 when it started! I love GOT! :thumbup1:
  10. Sadly not, mate. If you can picture this though: when all the clear and black plastic shrouds are removed, you can see the dials in the white plastic housing. All I did was to fill pretty much all the gaps between the dials with LED strips (stuck to the base of the housing) so the illumination behind the dials themselves is infinitely better than using the four stock bulbs (or, in my opinion, replacing those bulbs with LEDs). Does that make sense?
  11. My ignition wasn't turned on...!! Si: I bought a reel of white LEDs off the Bay ages ago - that's all I've used. I pulled all the clocks out of the housing and strategically laid the strips in there. Basically so every notch on the dials receives pretty equal illumination. Time-consuming, but it looks so good in the flesh! :)
  12. I used LED strips inside the case, Tom. Seems to have produced a much more even spread of light behind the dials. :)
  13. So today found me finally making time to replace the knackered speedo with one that apparently works (thank you, Johnyboy - very much appreciated!) Whilst I had everything in pieces, I thought I might as well redo the LEDs that light all the gauges. Et voila: I went for white for the main dials as I wanted a subtle, crisp look. The pods gained a bright red glow about them, though: Hopefully tomorrow will find me a happy Mondo at being able to tell how fast I'm going!!
  14. Today, I took a little time to give the old girl a good wash and polish :) It's a shame I don't have more time (and money!) to lavish on her, really....
  15. As Jeff has said, they'd be a nightmare to wire in. As I said, the boost gauge alone shows that they're not designed for an NA car. At least you haven't bought something you can't use, which is the main thing. :)
  16. Well, whilst they'll physically fit in any Z32, the plugs at the rear might not necessarily correspond with yours. So you need to either take your own clocks out and check the back of them against that picture, or ask the seller what year they are. Also, they're twin turbo clocks as they have a boost gauge... if yours is an NA, there's going to be an issue straight away, I'm afraid!
  17. Just make sure they're the right series' clocks for your car!
  18. Blue glass? I'd be interested too! :)
  19. Very impressive work, mate!! :thumbup1:
  20. That faux leather looks like a decent match, Al. :thumbup1:
  21. There's any amount of body bolt-ons available for the ST202 Celica, depending how deep your pockets are. A good upgrade (both visually and from a safety perspective) are the late-spec projector headlights, as the early halogen ones are terrible! Here's what a very smart looking Celica looks like: All factory options too! :thumbup1:
  22. Here's a car I know plenty about! :thumbup1:
  23. If I could have an "ideal" widebody kit for a Z32, it'd have extended wings front and rear and no vents anywhere! Just some nice subtle, muscular bulges in the arches and that'd be perfect for me! :thumbup1:
