  1. Are you looking to have them retrimmed back to OEM spec? If you are, I can tell you now that the Le Mans fabric (for the seat centres) has long since been discontinued and even Recaro themselves can't supply it anymore! :(
  2. Looks like you have SR2s in your Zed, so this should be the part you need: http://www.capitalseating.co.uk/productdetail.asp?pid=630&type=s&appgrpid=&appid=&rid=61 However, it might be worth dropping them a line and explaining that you have the more pronounced "spikes" at the shoulders, just to make sure they can still supply the matching part. :)
  3. Here's the parts you need as I'm assuming you have the Speed seats fitted (if they're the optional Recaros). Diaphragm: http://www.capitalseating.co.uk/productdetail.asp?pid=325&type=s&appgrpid=&appid=&rid=61 RH lower bolster: http://www.capitalseating.co.uk/productdetail.asp?pid=319&type=s&appgrpid=&appid=&rid=61 Now, your upper shell is a tricky one and that's why I need to see a picture of the actual seat before I tell you what's what. Recaro made two variants of the upper shell for the Speeds - one with quite spiky upper sections (where your shoulders go) and one with more subtle, rounded ones. So I need to know which yours is :)
  4. The diaphragm sits under the seat base to support your arse when you sit down.
  5. There's a good chance that Lee wouldn't be happy as he wouldn't have the car that he'd agreed to buy.
  6. What if the auction goes above the price already agreed for the car...? I know Lee says he's put a maximum bid of £15k on eBay, which means he'd undoubtedly win if the auction ran to term... but what if somebody genuinely bid a high amount because they really want this car? If that's above the already agreed price, what then? Hmmm?
  7. Show me a picture of your seats and I'll tell you which parts you need from Capital :)
  8. Like I said, I was just asking the question.
  9. I get that. And I understand it. But JaiKai seems to know a fair amount about these cars so, as he's been told it's a non-runner, I don't imagine he's going to be surprised to find it's a non-runner. I just think it's unfair to have the auction running when the car is, according to it's For Sale thread, sold. If no money has changed hands, be it deposit or full asking price, then it's not sold. That explains why the auction is running, which I'd already figured out. I just feel sorry for someone who is probably genuinely bidding and is going to be hugely disappointed!
  10. If it's only under offer, why can't anyone make an offer via the thread that's on this very forum? The thread that states, quite clearly, that it's sold. I'm not out for an argument here - I'm just genuinely curious as to why the auction's still running when the car is sold...
  11. Is it not arguably worse to pull an auction for an item that has, in fact, been sold days earlier...?
  12. I was simply asking a question, that's all. And it's now been answered. It's not my "fight" (as it were) but it is something that annoys the life out of me! [/my 2 cents]
  13. What about the people who think that the car is still up for grabs? The currently winning bidder? Perhaps they're running around, pricing things up for them to collect the car if they win the auction... could their time not be better spent if he just killed the auction...?
  14. So someone could well be genuinely bidding on this car, really looking forward to the possibility of owning such a good-looking example... only to find that the auction mysteriously ends with no explanation? Maybe it's just me that gets seriously wound up when that happens!!
  15. If this car is now sold to JaiKai, why is the eBay auction still running...?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300zx-twin-turbo-Non-runner-/121277919768?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1c3cba3218
  16. Joel has VAG software...?? My Golf has the airbag & EML lights on all the time!!!
  17. Joel got in touch with me when I first debuted the doorcard armrests, wanting to know what metal the chassis was made from, where I got it and how much I paid. I got quite the surprise when, having answered his questions, he turned round and said he was going to offer me the metal he had lying around! For gratis!! Top bloke! :thumbup1:
  18. A professional circuit board, if nothing else! :thumbup1:
  19. Where's it actually going...?
  20. I'll have a dig around tonight and see what I've got, mate :)
  21. What colour? And why didn't you ask me first...??
  22. I thought you already had one, Kev...?
  23. Tis a good point, Lee. Anyone got any ideas as to whether the TT change would need to be explained to DVLA or not as well...?
  24. A: Not really :( B: Er... can I store one above the other...?? Gotta love pipe dreams, eh...
  25. I think Jeff needs to weigh in on this one to say what's actually been done to this one... :detective:
