I'm watching this thread with interest.

I have a spare pair of LWB targa blinds here that came with my car. Any good to anyone? No idea what the going rate for these things is (if anything) so feel free to make me an offer. :)

We just keep on sparring, mate... ;) :lol: I like the general look of the car (aside from the rear lights) but I imagine the high price is partly an attempt to recoup some of the cost of the mods and the paintjob.

These things are only any good, of course, when people can be bothered to leave any sort of feedback. I tend to leave feedback when I have dealings with anyone on here but very rarely seem to have that reciprocated.

Non-turbo... relatively short MOT... gaffa tape holding the aircon pod together... Looks clean enough in the pictures, but 4 months test would concern me a little bit.

Well, firstly I got rid of this (which has probably been fitted since god knows when): And replaced it with this: Hopefully the rumours about these things will prove true and I'll discover a couple of extra Japanese stallions that were previously hiding somewhere! I then got on with the task of fitting my Bodymech-modified Bomex rear spoiler. The guys have done a simply superb job of taking the previously end-less spoiler (designed as part of a two-piece setup) and custom building some sweeping endcaps for me, so as to do away with the "muffintops" that the OEM spoilers suffer from and turn it into more of a ducktail. They even bonded an LED brakelight in at my request too! I seriously can't rate Allan and Darren highly enough - huge thanks, fellas!! The "Fairlady Z" emblem may be slightly cockeyed... And then, to cap it all off, I managed to get one of my Recaros fitted. The original plan was to fit the OEM optional set from TonyB's Zed but, because my belts are on the doors themselves, the larger shoulder spikes on those seats interfered with them! So I ended up swapping them for a pair out of a DC5 Integra late last night, which fit perfectly. The driver's seat will go in when a new lower bolster arrives later this week. Getting there slowly... :)

Does anyone else (apart from me) think that Tom should write some form of novel or something? He's suitably verbose and articulate, as I was explaining to him yesterday... he's clearly born to command people's collective attention with the English language! :thumbup1:

I drove Tom's car this afternoon and, while his clutch is more "switchlike" than a standard one, it's not completely "on-off"... there is some progression in it, but it took me a little getting used to! :)

Mrs Mondo did the Race For Life today. In her onesie! Here's how she looked at the start of it (she's on the left): Waiting to go: So they set off and I next saw them as they approached what can only be described as a massive paddling pool filled with mud and water! Every boy's dream, right?? :D As she crossed the finish line: And with her sister: The Three Mucketeers reunited at the end of it all: And a bonus "strip" picture!! I'm very proud of her. :) Thank you very much to all who donated to such a worthy cause and congrats again to Fran, Eve and Jenny for running the filthy obstacle course in the name of charity! :)
