Yep, a little screw that goes into the reflector - that'll have added to your problems in getting them apart! And I imagine your first unit came apart after you sheared the screw out of it's housing, mate...

You did take the little screw out of the back, didn't you...? They can be a pig to do - my first attempt wasn't the greatest, admittedly. Hope you've got a spare pair! :(
