  1. Brilliant news, I have just had a fantastic date with Kim the Radiographer. Dont laugh too hard but after a costa coffee I took her to a beautiful spot a couple of miles out of Elgin and we fed some ducks! I had a picnic ready and luckilly having done my best guess of what she might like it was all a good choice of food. We sat on my jacket in the sun totally out of the wind for about 2 hours. Also good news she was as lovely as I remembered haha as I Wasn't at my best last time we met. And my finger's good enough to work on friday so I only missed 1 day of work! What a good day.
  2. it gets a lot of oil changes though Bugger. At least I changed all 6, funny how the rear 2 coil pack connectors were in far better nick than the other 4... That isn't a dig at anyone just an observation, dodgy little non zed experienced garages.
  3. Mine has had 2 sets of coppers BCR8ES I think, it's what Noz recommends and they seem great to me. But this discussion has gone round and round. Don't think you can go wrong with coppers like, mine has 430 at the engine and 16psi, has had for about 20'000 miles.
  4. I bet he has a dark past with a max power clio in it! And it's that that has sent him the other way
  5. A vinyl Rap "Sticky back plastic, its fantastic..." innit bruv
  6. Yeah that'd be cool, get a quick selfie, us two and a sea king on the back of your boat :-) And definitely fancy the pint mate :pint: Safe sailing :thumbup1:
  7. That road is dreadful, camera vans and head on collisions. All of the wagons do 40 as they have to because there are Loads of cameras. So people overtake, but bacause the cameras are on the overtaking double lane bits they crash doing it in mental places. Then I scrape them into a helicopter and take them to hospital. Its a dangerous road that one... lets put more cameras on it :headvswall: We can have a pint in hartlepool some time I'm home mate :thumbup1: If you're sailing west at all drop me a line and I'll try to get a sea king to play with your boat.
  8. Valves like barstool bases I bet. Was gonna ask if you fancied a pint but it is still a long old way to Fraserburgh. Cheers Garry :-)
  9. Turns out Buckie RNLI Lifeboat is a TT-TT Not pictured, the other Twin turbo V12 With it's Fast Ford sized cone filters and 'another' 1250hp! The boat was doing about 30kts and rolling what looked like 45 degrees but was realistically probably closer to about 30!
  10. This is where I was this morning, SICK AS A DOG! :boat:   :sweatdrop:  :hurl:
  11. Not too far from me then, I'm at Lossie now but tomorrow I'm going out with Buckie Lifeboat. You up here fore long?
  12. If I got some of these http://www.d2brakekits.co.uk/ Would floating rotors rattle and are they worth opting for over stock? My understanding of floating rotors is that the outer ring of brake disc is bolted to the top hat bit in the middle that goes on the hub rather than it being one piece of metal, to better prevent warping when it heats up??? I know some bike brake set ups rattle when cold? or am I totally wrong again.
  13. Richard, you are quite right I am talking rubbish, I think the £500 I had in my head was after some new discs and pads too. Here is my email I got from him... I think the MX5 thing was representative of the rears because I never told him I had one.
  14. I have had real hassle with my brakes. They were knackered when I got it, replaced by zedworld (£200 or so) Then I went round Croft and they set on fire, new fluid SS lines and discs and pads all round, not good ones unfortunately (£300 or so). Used said Ebay brakes for a week and they were like poppadums bought Black diamonds and yellowstuff pads front only (£400 or so). They now are wrinkly rubbish and were fairly quickly. Now I obviously have a dodgy calliper or two, I have spiggot rings, I torque all my wheel nuts the same, I wire brushed rust off my hubs, my wheels are ballanced and my toe arms are fine. It is brake judder and I never sit on the brake and I always park in gear with the handbrake off. I looked at Big Red refurb, it was going to be something like £500 plus new discs and pads afterwards. Second hand I don't fancy, Car Mad's K Sports were not a lot cheaper than new ones, Wilwood are about £800, I have decided that when I can its getting, 356mm D2 floating discs up front and 330mm K sports on the back. That'll be silly money at about £2500 but I am fed up, my car is only getting more powerful not less and brakes are important.
  15. It will increase lag though won't it, or at least make it less responsive to closing then opening the throttle.
  16. Noz was running his car without any because he liked the noise. I think not having valves is a bit like smoking, its not a good idea, you may never have an issue but chances are it will break something in the long run.
  17. Happy Birthday Kev  have a good day.
  18. Well I shouldn't worry with the support of a forum full of charismatic stallions I think I will be alright
  19. "Bank!" Signed off for the night, lads I feel brilliant, I cannot believe I have got chatting to a beautiful Radiologist, just shows doesn't it, you make your own luck in this world. Thank you for all the kind words, I will put up some pics tomorrow if it's a good colour, and let you know how it goes with Kim :-) EDIT Thats the colour of my finger, not my cock or Kims backside or anything like that
  20. Hi Tom it's Kim from the hospital, how is the hand doing. Nothing spectacular but hey, were now chatting. Were on about text 5, I feel like a teenager, It is so much easier to meet and talk, one comma in the wrong place in a text and you're ****ed... or rather you're not
  21. It's on my list of things to do, go to Bodymech and get her future proofed. I am scared to look under my plastic side skirts, perhaps I could let it rust away underneath and do like a body kit monocoque!
  22. lmao, I didn't say what it said did I, but it wasn't "your note was creepy you hand mangled freak" haha At last a girl I can break out my A level physics chat on hahaha Talk about how an MRI works :hang:
  23. Oh dear  I will be amazed if I get to meet her in the flesh, if I somehow was sufficiently charming in a 2 minute photo shoot (agonising blood spattered X ray) and on a note written with a broken hand (looked like the scribblings of a mad man) then... then I have peaked!
  24. Oh my god, the gorgeous radiographer girl has text me! The broken finger is awesome thank you
  25. Haha, thanks for the concern guys, its the first concern that has been shown to me! It was like a Carry on film in Beamo's yard, "Carry on Sergeant" I spose
