  1. Come on Kirbz - let's see that video...
  2. I know what you mean Wayne, there was occasionally a hesitation when pulling away. Although it only ever stalled a couple of times and this was only when putting it in to reverse. A few people on here find the revs dropping and the Autobox hesitating a little sometimes. If you do a search you should be able to find a list of possible causes. I hope that helps...
  3. Nice to see you on the forum Wayne and I'm glad that my old Zed is treating you right (or should it be the other way round!). Welcome to the madhouse...
  4. This is the most usefull response I have ever seen on this site. ROFL
  5. Is this sensor in the overhead fan/reading light cluster? Is it easy to replace myself? And, who sells them? Thanks again...
  6. This sounds like a decent suggestion, I'm pretty sure that we all like pubs :duffer: Wozzer, maybe you should have a look into the pubs on the A10. Anyone else got any suggestions?
  7. I've not been to any proper meets yet. Mainly because they are south of the river!
  8. 2 questions: 1. should this thread be in the South Est section? 2. where do you think we should meet?
  9. I have only just noticed how many of us there are around here! I see that there are 2 zed owners in Hemel Hempstead, a load in Aylesbury 1 in Stevenage, a couple in Milton Keynes even 1 in Luton! This got me thinking maybe we should arrange a meet? Anyone up for it? Mike...
  10. Mate I had the same thing happen on my N/A on the motorway. I spent ages trying to get a second hand one and that was fooked after a couple of weeks too. I eventually forked out for a brand new OEM one. but if I had the chance to make those decisions again I would go KOYO everytime. Save yourself some time and money by listening to this advice...
  11. Hello T, I got it sorted no problem at R-Tec, just had the rear raised by 10mm. But, the guy in the shop said something interesting. He told me that the rear tyres were too big. He said that because the front tyres are 235/40/18 that the rear tyres should be 265/35/18 instead of the 265/40/18 that are on there at the moment. This explains why they filled the arch so much and were close to rubbing the arches. I wasn't really listening to him too much cos they're a bunch of tossers at that place but looking at the car now I can see what he meant. It looks a bit like a dragster with bigger wheels on the back - I quite like it! Cheers, Mike...
  12. Still, the cops are a right b@stard. I think I might have got 3 points today. I was driving a 4speed Renault 5 at around 38 in a 30, there was a camera van parked on the side of the road. Don't know if I will get busted for it yet. The worst part is the waiting for something to come through in the post. I have my fingers crossed...
  13. If it is still for sale I recommend you have a look at the slicktop AndyZ has got for sale. It's going for such a good price that you would have money left over for a respray and having driven it I can confirm that the handling is amazing...
  14. They look nice mate, A long days work I bet!
  15. No probs mate, I think this is it... http://www.tein.com/ti/inst/6n22u.pdf
  16. I agree with you about the manual gearbox and I think you should hold out for the right car, But I would like to ask why do you want a UK car so much? Mike...
  17. I'm goofy footed so will be no probs. Need to buy a board though, I broke my last one in Fiji...
  18. I agree whole-heartedly. a recent import will come with much fewer problems than a UK car, based mainly on mileage and rust. What for? to save a couple of quid on the insurance? Just my opinion...
  19. I remember watching the european championships in Thurso a long time ago. It really is a sweet wave but the water always looks brown and it's too bloody cold for my liking. I'm off to Bali in September for a nice warm surf!
  20. I have done a search but can't find a lot of info on this. The noise is a quite loud mechanical clicking coming from the dashboard area above the main vents. It will click 4/5 times then stop for 10 seconds and repeat. As you can imagine this is quite irritating. :headvswal I think I have found a way to stop it, by having the fan on and directing the air to my feet (series II climate control). But this is not a permanent solution. can anyone shed any light?
  21. I found that the Tein website has all sorts of manuals on it. I found a few for the 300zx. Anyway, I went and got it sorted at R-Tec yesterday. Thanks everyone...
  22. I've also found this which will help Engine bay in numbers I'm going to check the connections and try and borrow a voltmeter...
  23. Right, next problem! I have a clicking noise coming from dash/bulkhead area. it clicks 4/5 times then waits 10 seconds before clicking again. From searching the forum I have come to the conclusion that it is the TPS. but I don't know what the TPS is or how to locate it. Can it be cleaned or should it be replaced? Thanks, Mike...
  24. Thanks for a very speedy response. I don't think I do, unfortunately... Thanks, I'll give them a call Count me in...
