  1. Agree with 300dsh I make the most of mine, when the sun shines I give it a good booting!
  2. I think that looks good even if it looks a lot like the 350z, Hey Leight, if the engines you and John are putting in (the VH) are 5 litre, what's the capacity of the one above? and if it's fitted with twin tubbies what sort of BHP are we looking at? Hmm, I'll leave you boys argue it out...
  3. Hellraiser you've done a blinding job there. I think they look so fookin sweet with the black spokes. I want to get mine refurbed now...
  4. Thanks. I know after speaking to John Dixon that all Zeds on stock maps run rich at top end (I think this is to reduce the chance of detonation) I intend to get this sorted with a remap at some point. Just out of interest, how is Chunk getting those huge flames out of his exhaust? is it a flamer kit?
  5. I think my Zed is running a bit rich at top end. When I give it some stick it sometimes makes an extremely loud BANG as I change up a gear. I presume that this is the excess fuel burning off as it comes out of the exhausts. Apart from fuel consumption is this bad in anyway? Also, I haven't seen this happening yet only heard it. Would it look anything like this photo of Chunk's flames? (stolen from Z Club) Thanks, Mike...
  6. I think this could look good too. black spokes with shiny rims. Can someone photoshop that for Legrath?
  7. looks really nice mate, and yes you do need to update your siggy pic (but you're not the only one)
  8. I can't wait to see it. Also, I might give you a call sometime about a remap for my new Zed. Cheerz, Mike...
  9. Hey John, the motor is coming along nicely. I note that you are not using your old blue 300zx TT for this project. Have you still got that car? What shell are you using for this one? SWB I hope?
  10. Yeah! :nana2:  :hyper:
  11. Thanks Greg, it's good to know I've got a good rad. One of the previous owners has gone to some effort with my car as it also has an oil cooler (and it's a manual). :hyper: Extra cooling power :hyper:
  12. I'm not so sure Autotrader works as well as it used to. I have bought and sold a few cars on eBay. I agree with Cooper (above) it can be harder to sell, but you've got a low enough price on there to attract some interest. I'd be tempted to leave autotrader for a while and see what happens on eBay. How many people are watching it?
  13. I'm sorry, I know it is all personal opinion, BUT. All of that Navan stuff is fookin hideous...
  14. Well I got my new 3/4 size numberplate on last night. :nana2: :nana2: What do you lot think?
  15. I think those rims will help it sell, and everyone loves BOVs! The most important thing when it comes to selling a car is having a realistic price. Your eBay advert looks good and the buy it now price is not too high. Best of luck with it, Mike...
  16. I've got an ARC rad in mine. don't know how much they cost, but it seems to work!
  17. I agree in part, Insurance is too expensive. This is because 1 in 10 driver in Britain are not insured. This makes them 6 times more likely to be driving an un-roadworthy vehicle and 10 times more likely to be a drink driver...
  18. Yeah, 650 and 950 are approved. Fvck knows why anyone would fit a non-approved alarm to these cars! Anyway, can anyone help?
  19. I have now found out that my Clifford 850 is not thatcham approved :headvswal I couldn't be more p1ssed off about it :headvswal Anyway, now I need to get a Thatcham approved Category 2 immobiliser fitted. I have been quoted £125 by In Car Electrics, just down the road and Bob from SafeandSound in Chester quoted £80... So, first question, does anyone know a good cheap fitting place near me? Second question, and the real problem is: I don't want the cat 2 immobiliser to interfere with the turbo timer that is part of my clifford alarm at the moment. Is this possible? Thanks, Mike...
  20. Thanks, I'm not sure if it is the fuse, relay or switching mechanism, but I thought I would try the cheap things first. The problem is neither main beam bulbs come on at all. Is this likely to be a fuse?
  21. come on, someone must know where to buy a fuse (except Nissan of course)
  22. kamikaze, I think they will look really sweet on your motor. buy them, buy them...
  23. As the title suggests. I need to know where I can get hold of the fuse for my main headlights. Anyone?
  24. Oh well, I didn't buy it cos it was light! Thanks...
