  1. Will do. Cheers everyone...
  2. Yep, they rock. I don't think I had seen one up close before. They remind me a little of Zed styling, I think it is the headlights...
  3. I doubt any of you fookers will even notice! but I am off to Hong Kong tomorrow for a week to see the missus and get some head (apologies to the lady members) but I am going to get LAID. See y'all soon...
  4. a couple more of this Mustang...
  5. I went along briefly to "classics on the common" in Harpenden last night. It's clearly an area filled with rich people as there were around a million ferraris there LOL. Anyway hope you like the pics. Mike...
  6. I currently own a SWB and I have driven a slicktop (one that AndyZ had for sale). I can confirm that the slicktop does handle very well, you really notice the rigidity (certainly compared to a LWB). They are also lighter but I didn't really notice that when driving as I had Andy in the car - no I'm not saying he's fat! The SWB that I have now does have the targas but it also has TEIN coilovers all round which has firmed it up a lot. It feels great, like a go cart. I would not want to drive a LWB again! Boomin - You already have a very quick zed and you want the SWB/Slicktop for more of a daily driver? is this correct? I would say you only NEED to focus on slicktops if you want to build the ultimate drag/race car. If not then a well sorted SWB will do the job. I hope that helps, Mike...
  7. Ooh, that sounds like a lot of fun!
  8. I'm hoping this will help Royal with his thread. I spent £2300 on my NA and spent over £2400 keeping it on the road in the first 12 months, does not include tyres, insurance, tax, fuel etc. :headvswal I spent £5000 on my TT and so far I have had no real issues at all. Not had my MOT yet :x: I bought the TT cos it had the right kind of mods already: brake upgrade, suspension upgrade, exhaust, intake, alloys. I don't even have that hideous tweed!
  9. There is a chance that if they are not tightened up properly they could lower the ride height. You need to take the wheels off to check that the coilovers are tightened. When you have the wheels off you can adjust the ride height. you just need the TEIN spanner things which cost about a tenner delivered. I hope that helps...
  10. Yes, Do a search, I even remember seeing some photos...
  11. Yep, come join us at the rolling road day on the 9th Sep, it's not that far from you...
  12. You're worrying me now! LOL. I didn't try A-plan, maybe I will next year...
  13. where do I sign up? and What were you searching for when you found that?
  14. Hmm, fairlady is just what they call them in Japan, they come in turbo and non turbo variants. I am insured with Adrian Flux and I have Tein Coilovers (declared everything to them).
  15. Yep, I fookin love that. I want one, I want one...
  16. With a black Zed I think you only need to consider the following: 1. plain alloys, nice and shiny 2. white 3. gold I like the idea of gold myself. That is the long term plan for my zed...
  17. I have had a thought about this subject. it is a ludicrous argument. The MR2 is a sports car, the 300zx is really more of a GT car...

Everyday is a school day! Oh yeah Amazon, nice clean example there mate. Enjoy it...
  19. Welcome, I will try and aswer the questions that have gone unanswered! 4.The Jap models have folding door mirrors, no rear fog lights, a lot less rust (normally), different side light/fog light confirguration 5. produced between 1989 and 1999 but very rare to pick up the later model cars. 9. I think they all have LSD *waits to be corrected* b. I don't think any had remote locking as standard but I haven't seen one yet that doesn't have it fitted. Insurance companies normally require a decent alarm device that is often wired to the central locking. e. Well now that would be opening a can of worms. LOL. Good advice is to look on this forum for cars as they are probably better looked after than some on fleabay etc. Best of luck with the search. Once you drive one you will want it...

I can't see the seatbelts on the doors. Is it a series II interior?
  21. my old NA had the opposite problem. The starter motor was lazy and sometimes wouldn't engage fully with the ringgear before starting. it makes a fookin horrible noise. but it would only do this once in every 50 times that I would start it. very weird...
  22. You'll be back and you know it! You've just got to find a nice SWB N/A manual in yellow!
  23. Yeah, mine seems fine in the heat. Even if there is a slight reduction in power, it is more than made up for by the amount of grip you get on a hot day...
