fitting clear rear lenses
Well... What a fook up! I got the clustes out ok but after heating them I caused some damage and ended up breking the outer casing! Now I have given up and put the old setup back in. I am planning on getting the proper "99spec" setup. but in the meantime I have managed to cause some sort of problem for the breaking lights! A verey bad day for me... Thanks for all of the advice. Anybody want to buy my clear lense conversion (it hasn't been touched)If they read this thread they will just laugh

fitting clear rear lenses
Wasn't it originally a Cat Stevens song? Maybe Boyzone is more appropriate! Thanks for the tips guys. I'm off to Hellfrauds to get a couple of bulbs and some sticky tape... I feel like a Blue Peter presenter :slap:

fitting clear rear lenses
So I presume after you melted the originals you went and bought some proper 99spec lights? I don't have the orange bulbs yet, thanks for reminding me. Did you ever manage to get them apart or did you give up? Thanks for the tips. Also, I am thinking about using some electrical tape to make black strips across the lenses, is this sensible or should I use a different material? Cheers, Mike...

HELP - please look at the photo
OK, I disconnected the "strange" plug and it did not seem to make any difference! The indicators, side lights, and dip all still work  What could it possibly be for? Anyway, I thought I should have a little play around with the thing last night and ended up shorting my indicators! :headvswal hopefully it is just a fuse, but it was too dark to actually look last night! If anyone has any bright ideas please let me know. Thanks again, Mike...

if you were to sell your zed
I love these, only seen one in person but they are stunning cars. Really make you

ooo look what i spoted
I can't stand the strosek front either. But I am interested in what they say in the add:- "the bumper is a modified Strostek unit which originally was made for the 96 face lift Z. When Nissan announced that the "Z was nearly dead" Strostek pulled out and sold the kits direct to the public." Were Nissan really planning on using this front end for all of the post 96 Z32s?

HELP - please look at the photo
I have tried several "normal" stalks with no joy. I will try disconnecting the strange plug tonight and see what doesn't work. It has to be worth a shot, Thanks Carl...

There is always the fuse, very near the relay that you have already checked. 5 amp I think...

HELP - please look at the photo
Hmm, never noticed the arrows lit up before. The car did come with running lights though, like the american cars. maybe it is something to do with that? I am pretty useless with electrics and wouldn't know which wires do what! I can feel a trip to my auto-sparky coming up!

HELP - please look at the photo
Thanks Andy, but it has been down to Ztech and they checked all the fuses and relays. We have narrowed it down to either a faulty stalk or a dodgy earth. So the plan is to try the simple things first. From what I have been finding out even the jap spec units don't have this plug on them! Thanks Mowgs for having a look. I'm running out of options  Can anyone help? Please :D

if you were to sell your zed
That's a good buy. My boss used to have a cerbera. 3.9 to 60mph. very quick. It spent a lot of time in the TVR garage though! I didn't know you had even sold the Zed, I always liked the look of the mat black. Now that you've got rid of it I wont feel like I'm copying you if I respray mine mat black   Anyway, I would probably go for something like a Poopra or MR2 if I had to sell...

the new toy

HELP - please look at the photo
Thank a lot. I need to get to the bottom of this as at the moment my main beams are not working and I think the stalk is the problem...

My Z being washed by glamour models (vids and pics)
Fas, Why did I not know about this event? I would have driven all the way back from Wales and dumped my girlfriend of 7 years to have those ladies wash my car. Well, it is quite dirty at the moment! And did I see T in that video as well?

HELP - please look at the photo
I need to get hold of a replacement indicator stalk. But this is no ordinary indicator stalk! After looking through all the old Zeds down at Ztech we couldn't find one with the same plugs coming out of the back. Most only have one set of plugs, mine also has a smaller plug coming out of it (this is highlighted with a red square in the pic). If anyone has one of these for sale, or knows what the extra plug thing is for please let me know. Thanks, Mike...
