Hijack! I now have my new centre console. I am planning on swapping from a double din stereo to a single din setup. I have really missed the clock since I put in the boost controller and I'm thinking of making a blanking plate for the lower din slot and fitting the boost controller there. Has anyone done this before? Any pics? Thanks, Mike...

I posted a similar thread a while ago. If you search you will find it. Does the noise click about 5 times then stop for 10 seconds then start again etc? I THINK it is something to do with a solenoid but I am not sure! Mine is a series 2 Zed and I found as long as I have some air being pumped down to the footwell it doesn't make any noise at all. That is good enough for me LOL.

I've got my Profec B spec 2 where the clock used to be. It's not a perfect fit at the moment but I have another centre console on its way and I plan on making it fit perfectly. I have "customised" the current centre console where the air vents are. I have broken them slightly so it doesn't fit back together! I call that customising. LOL...

Well done matey. It's always good to take them down a peg after they've spent soo much on a new car...

I want one, do you think I could swap it for the Zed?
