That is exactly what I wanted to understand. So BHP is basically a manipulation of the torque figure and it means very little. Keith maybe you could shed some light on my dyno graph? If my peak torque is at 3700 RPM and Krsmayo's peak torque is 5000 RPM does that mean my engine may have some different cams in it? Also, what is the best way to get my torque readings to stay level after they peak? Thanks again.

That makes sense as my peak torque was at 3500 RPM. Just what I thought...

One for the techies I think. Yesterday on the rolling road, I was the only person to have had a higher torque reading than bhp! What is the actual relationship between torque and BHP? And why do people want more bhp when it is torque that actually provides the accelaration?

I think I managed a 540! LOL, I was actually a little scared by the whole thing, but didn't panic. Luckily there was nothing coming behind me as I was facing the wrong way on the dual carriageway! Chris, it was the corner where you went passed on the outside. I don't really know what happened, I certainly didn't plant my right foot. I have been thinking of excuses: 1. There is a little play in my HICAS arms. :smash: 2. There was no heat in the tyres. :wack: 3. I hit a patch of oil. :rofl: BUT I think it was more likely just a bad line through the corner! Anyway, despite the hanging about in the cold it was a good day. I'm very happy with my torque figure and the clutch didn't seem to cause too many problems. I think all of us Zeds did well and we certainly weren't embarassed by the Skyline boys...

You're right Craig David, I have seen these sort of threads spiral out of control. Let's hope that doesn't happen here! PMSL, I couldn't help myself!

Those wheels do look really good, they definitely suit the Zed. I expect this would be quite a cheap upgrade from stock wheels for us, as people with 350zs go for aftermarket options...
