I should be there. Got to fit my 99 spec lights on saturday though. I'll have a think about pubs (with carparks) and let y'all know... ...I've had a thought! I can think of a couple of decent pubs with car parks. Either the King Harry or the Three Hammers. Should be ideal. Can anyone think of anything better? I'll try not to lose any Zeds this time. :slap:
  9. Hey Fas, Yeah John helped me out with a few things including ECU and EBC. :hyper: Funny thing was it had already been fitted with an aftermarket chip! I don't think T knew about this. Anyway, John stuck it in his computer and analysed it. It turned out to be a strange one with very rich fuelling low down in the range  Thanks again John...
  10. Thanks guys, I have had the old lights out once before so I know how horrible the tar is. Luckily my new lights turned up today and they have sufficient tar on them so I don't need to worry about sealing them. Moby - I used WD40 to get the tar off my hands last time, works a treat...
  11. LOL That can't be right. SWB look soo much better!
  12. Hopefully my (second hand) 99 spec rear lights will turn up in the next couple of days. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for fitting/sealing the lights to the rear. Obviously I will have pulled most of the original tar off the car before instalation. Should I use silicon or some other filler? Thanks...
  13. Hello Mike, I came and said hello to you today whilst you were at the traffic lights. I hope you get yourself online and onto this forum. There are some friendly people on here and a wealth of information. Very nice wheels by the way...
  14. Hello John, I was just about to PM you to thank you for all your time on Saturday. so thanks mate, the whole car is running better now. It's so much stronger when it pulls, and it spools up so much quicker. :nana2: I had real trouble keeping it below 100mph on the way back :nono: . It seems to go from 100 to 120 in about 2 seconds now! I gave it a few good runs in 5th and it was boosting well. I was getting peak boost at around 15.5 psi. Which I am very happy with. :hyper: Now I've got to start looking for HICAS ball joints. Life is never dull when you own a Zed! Thanks again John, see you soon. Mike...
  15. My first one was. Oh what a mess! :nana2: Got a clean one now though :nana2:
  16. Hmmm, I used to do that but I've moved on. Now I prefer to get high on smack and beat on tramps and the homeless :smash: I'm up for a meet but would prefer if it was not on a Friday night.
  17. Coopers SWB PM'd me earlier about another meet. Maybe we could sort something out? P.S. I like pub food...
