I know, I know. I've just given up caring! Plus I wouldn't know how to change the belts myslef. It needs to be done ASAP as I actually need my car for work this week. and he NISSAN dealership is just down the road from me. I am really glad that I have never taken my zed to them before. I must have saved thousands over the years! :rofl:

Thanks for all the comments guys (and the prayers) LOL. I have spoken to them a few times today just to make sure they know what sort of car it is! Anyway, ChrisC was pretty close to spot on. They are going to replace all 3 belts while they are in there. including VAT and labour they are going to charge me £258.50 :eek: I did enquire about the full 60k service because I'm not sure whether that has happened yet. I decided that can wait until I get down to Ztech again because the guy wanted to charge me £437 just for one of the cam tensioners! I am just hoping that I stopped before any part of the engine cooked itself. and I'll have to put the rest down to experience...

I took the zed out for a drive today. After about 10 miles I get a few lights flash up on the dash (lights, ABS, HICAS, battery) then I notice the temp going up very quickly! I pull over ASAP and pop the bonnet. the fan belt has shredded! So I call RAC and they come out pretty quick. My normal garage tells me that they are closing down and cannot take the Zed! the only other place I can get it to is a Nissan dealership :eek: I have now left it there with them and they will start work on it on Monday. I am already shitting myself about this because they don't know what they are doing. I have proof they don't know anything because of what they said on the phone. :eek: :nono: :eek: This weekend if you have a spare moment, please pray for my Zed. I don't think it will live for much more than a week after they have fooked about with it! :rant:

Mike, Whatever you do, don't buy a house you are not entirely happy with. if you end up moving away in a couple of months or years then you will pay a LOT in fees and charges not to mention stamp duty etc. If it was me then I would stretch myself a little and find somewhere you really like. I was just fumbling through some old photos and found these 2 that I really like. These pics have made me realise I do really want to spray my current Zed in the stock Nissan metallic black...

I've just spoken to Gary at MyGarage. He was very helpful and has told me just to send one of the fuel gauges up to him and he'll send me back a temp gauge. Seems simple enough...

I opened up my pack yesterday for the first time and noticed that I have 2 x fuel gauges and no temp gauge! :cry: Has anyone noticed that they have 2 x temp gauges and no fuel gauge?If you haven't looked yet please do so. If no one can help I will have to contact the garage direct. Thannks again chaps...

It certainly is light to the touch, but it does have a very narrow bite point. it's either on or off! I'm not quite used to it yet but I do like the feel. Do you know how much torque it is supposed to be able to take? Cheers.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes Mike the OS Giken clutch is in, it took a bit of fiddling to find the right clutch release bearing but we got there in the end anyway. The shopping trolley was left in the photo by the missus, I'll give her a slap later...

Well I have now got some new rims on my Zed, a new clutch and all of the rear suspension parts have been sorted/replaced. :dance: The car feels sooooo much tighter, I can't wait for a nice dry day to take it for a good burn. And yes FunkySi it does need a clean! That's going to be my next mod! Thanks to Paul300zx and AndyZ for helping me out with the wheels and clutch (I haven't stalled it yet but I know what you mean!)
