Yep, couldn't be easier to test drive. I agree with you about the driving experience Dave, I absolutely loved drving the 350z. I wouldn't be suprised if I ended up with one in a few years.

Good news for us blokes.....
I think most of the guys on here have now had a look on Fairladyzed's website and I wouldn't have even noticed it if it wasn't for Jason. It's good publicity :) You are welcome to sit on my car anytime too. Although I'm not sure what the missus would say :x:

350Z or S15 Sylvia?
S15 is definitely rarer, no doubt about that. I haven't even seen one in Britain yet. When it comes to tuning, I presume you could use a lot of the tuning parts and know-how that is around from previous models. BUT, it is getting easier and easier to find tuning parts for the 350Z. Fit a supercharger and you're away  The 350Z is soooo much better looking, handles like a dream and has Z car heritage. It gets my vote everytime...

why is it so hard to beat factory figures?
T-Pot, I've just seen your signature. I know your car is quick but I'm fairly confident it wasn't doing 150mph at the 1/4 mile. PMSL

why is it so hard to beat factory figures?
Why is it so hard to beat factory figures? I don't know but I wouldn't be suprised if the factory figures are mathematicaly calculated rather than tested with a human driver. Humans are not perfect and do make mistakes. I am quite happy with my 5.65 seconds to 60. plenty of room for improvement though!

jtuner day
I'll try and get some photos up over the weekend. Was a blinding day out, loads of fun in a straight line and going sideways. Thanks again to Bryn and Steve for organising it all...

Jtuner Magazine thrash invite
It was a bloody good day out. my first ever dragging and I wasn't disappointed. I got from 0-60 in 5.65 secs and topped out at 147mph i think. Can't remember the other figurses after last nights boozing! I should be able to get a few pics and maybe some video up at some point, but I'm in limbo at the moment. I didn't realise it was Legrath and Glenn who turned up later on. And I presume it was southwestzmech wearing wearing the Ztech T-shirt? Anyway, I had a lot of fun and it's good to be able to put a few faces to the names...

Royal - So long as it makes sense for me as I'm coming from Kent, need to check a map. 6. mgh297. So, basically, up the M1, right at J20 and first layby. See you there for 8.30 - 8.45. bad noise . . . . .
Does it change with engine speed or is the noise independent of engine speed?

De-Cat, Cat back - confusion!
Thanks, that helps a lot. I just got confused by the terms. LOL SO - I know I will probably get away with it BUT - Where do I stand with the long arm of the law?

De-Cat, Cat back - confusion!
I spent some more time under my Zed this weekend and found out that I have had the cats removed :hyper: one less job for me to do. Anyway I am concerned about the legality. My car is a 1993 series II so Firstly, is it legal for me to have no cats? Secondly, I believe de-cat pipes are the replacement part of the exhaust where the catalytic converters used to be. - Is this correct? Thirdly, what are cat backs? where do they go and do they improve performance? Thanks, Mike...
