  1. The rear end of my car has been lowered a very long way, I cannot even get my finger between the tyre and the arch! (check the photo). This is also causing a quite ridiculous camber! I have never fiddled with suspension before and I could really do with some help. Does anyone have TEIN coilovers who might be able to give me a little advice? Or even better, is there anyone relatively close to me who could help me out? I would obviously drive to see you and drop off some beer tokens. Thanks, Mike...
  2. Thanks everyone, it is a sweet car but I do have a couple of little problems with it. Does anyone know anything about TEIN suspension? The rear has been dropped so low that I can't even get my finger between the wheel and the arch. Check the photo. Do I need a special tool?
  3. That does look good. Eventually I was thinking about going for 99spec lights and maybe a mid level spoiler. But I have got to pay off some of my debt first!
  4. Thanks Vini, Exhausts look better when you see them. As a former member of the Dark Side I am finding it hard to adjust to a red red Zed. I feel a little bit like a traitor!
  5. Yeah :hyper: :hyper: I'm so excited, I have now got my new Zed, it's sooo much fun. It's a big jump from an N/A auto 2+2 to a SWB TT manwell!!! I'll get more pics up soon. Mike...
  6. AndyZ lives just round the corner from Snetterton and has never been! maybe you should drag him along too? I missed out on a track day last weekend at Mallory Park, here's a piccy of my mate enjoying his 2.0l Audi powered MkII Golf...
  7. I think it's probably time to change my Avatar! Paul - would you like to use it? LOL
  8. I think it looks lovely. I don't think Honda have actually admitted that they will be making it yet. But it looks very likely. Can't wait to see one for real...
  9. I dunno a great deal about mapping, but I do know that John Dixon should be able to help you out with a switchable re-map specially for the NOS. I hope that is a little help...

Looks sweet mate (especially those rims!) best of luck selling it.
  11. Anyone got a spare £26k??? Oh My God... Edit - I'm not saying that I would like one. it looks like something of the barryboys site!

What's up Scott? You surely can't get rid of it so soon?
  13. That's no good Allan, hope you feel better soon. I can't help with most of those problems above, but hopefully I will be able to help you out with the wheels situation...
  14. Spot on, I would only buy JDM from now on, mainly because of rust problems that cars have in this country. Insurance is one thing but rust is a complete nightmare.
  15. Thanks, That must be what I did. Thanks guys.
  16. LOL, I do like a good rant! But seriously, I went out to measure my stock rims today knowing that they are supposed to be 16" diameter. The tape measure showed just over 17". What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Mike...
  17. It's also good for when the missus is driving. :x: she can slam her foot down and I don't have to worry about her losing the back end on roundabouts etc.
  18. Hope you feel better tomorrow mate. I had about 5 pints of Stella last night and felt like sh1t today. I can't remember the last time I felt that bad!
  19. Thanks, I'll try the window first... *goes off to search for the write up on that*
  20. Hi Andy, That's a good write up. I was wondering if you have any of those rubber strips left and whether you fancy sending me some too? Thanks. Mike...
  21. Bazza I have just upgraded to HIDs and the difference is amazing. My main beam now looks dull by comparison! check out the before and after pics...
  22. It is Ztech, I got my HIDs off them earlier this week...
  23. StellaZ, I am a mortgage adviser and IFA (independent financial adviser). I can see 3 potential issues here. 1. It sounds like there was some issue when remortgaging that may have meant you couldn't get the new deal that would have given you another £6k. If this is the case it should have been spelt out to you. 2. You signed the application form which would have detailed the type of mortgage you were going for. It is important to should make sure you read everything thouroughly before signing. 3. If there was no problem in the remortgage process and you had told him you wanted the £6k, the broker may have sold you the wrong mortgage, in which case you can complain to him direct. You will be covered under the FSCS (financial services compensation scheme). It is the mortgage adviser's job to know your situation and recommend the best product available. HTH I'm hurt. LOL
  24. If it wasn't such a dangerous idea it would be genius! Pete, you make it sound too easy. I am going to need mine done in the next 12 months but I will not be doing them myself. I'm very scared of messing with the brakes...
  25. I went to Uni there too! Welcome Hunnipie...
