any thoughts on this ebay GREDDY PROFEC B-SPEC 2 II BOOST CONTROLLER over the apexi avcr?

very tasty "marbled effect" burgundy zed.

yep was there sunday with my wife. (thought i had a half decent zed till i saw some of the others there :( )

saw these at JAE on sunday. they were £60.00 for the zed, and are supposed to add 5 octane to regular 95 petrol. did anyone get or ever tried these? not sure if they are just a gimmick :confused: nice to meet some of you this weekend, and also see your motors.......got plenty of ideas for my zed now! :D (was also amusing seeing vinni attempting to unlock his car after the large amounts of alcohol he had obviously consumed :rofl: :rofl: )

what kind of car were you in at york dragway? i was there in my red zed couple of months back when there were alot of american cars doing there stuff!

any thoughts on what to check for this, as it wont work? :confused: on/off button on the console works but it just wont engage when you try to press the steering wheel control. any help appreciated guys! gaz

just done my insurance with heritage classic insurance: 0121 246 5050 im paying 367.00 fully comp on a 1990 TT import, only 27 yrs old with 3 points, also with an ecu upgrade..........how goods that!! :nana2: :nana2: may be worth giving them a try?

i had gasket probs when i got mine. cost £1500 for a replacement low mileage engine to be fitted. i would take a guess (and it only is a guess so no one bite me head off if you disagree!!) that about £2500ish would be a "fair" price. mind you would it not be better for you to repair and then sell as it would likely sell quicker and possibly for more? :confused: gaz.

just reinsured mine today for ....................£367 FULLY COMP :nana2: :nana2: :hyper: :hyper: :D :D :D 27 with 5 years no claims, plus "admitting" its got an ecu upgrade. (by the way the no claims according to them will not affect the quote as they insure it as a classic). this is with heritage classic insurance

i had exact same prob (it had just been at local garage.....not again! :nono: ) no one seemed to be able to sort out, so i rang some one who knew what they were on about, that was jeff, and he talked me threw it in about 2 mins.....by the way thanks jeff!!! :D

when i initially got my zed i had a dodgy sensor that had "melted" due to the engine overheating when the headgasket blew. rather than having all the top of the engine (pipes / plenum etc) being removed, this sensor was relocated to a much easier place to gain access to. may be worth looking into if it does need fixing?
