i really am deeply sorry to hear this mate. dont know what else to say, just do your best to keep positive and i hope you and your children pull through this hard time. all are thoughts are with you.

just had a quote for my zed from a guy in scarborough (called radbodystyling), he does alot of work for the toyota club (recently had one of the cars he sprayed featured in japanese performance, looked good!). ive seen loads of people in scarborough who have had there cars done by him to look like fast and furious cars, with dragons etc down side of them. anyway, he quoted £600 for a full respray on my car!!!!!!!!!!!! that includes sorting out the rust on back quarter and also spraying inners of door seals :bow: :bow: :bow: i can get you his number if you are interested. gaz!

UPDATE: after speaking to him again, he has offered me a refund that he says i will receive by mon/tues.............i hope!

roughly any idea of price?

had my auto converted to manual, so its still got the auto tubs. i have been told that this set up, manual with auto tubs, will give faster turbo spool up. dont know if its really any quicker though :confused: but deffo alot more fun! :D

my mates just imported a celica through a company called autoadvan (tried to make him get a zed but he was too scared of the power!). its a 94 with 41k miles, oz alloys, had disc changer in boot, and ive never seen anything so mechanically clean and tidy that hasnt just rolled off a production line!! :bow: it cost him £2850 all in. i reckon car would prob sell here for about £3500. zeds seemed well priced too. £3-3500 would get a very nice one. good luck mate,gaz!

just had an email from this guy. he "PROMISES" that i will have it in 1-2 weeks max! ive read the links to the other sites and i see im not the only one with probs from him. :( one of the members on the site said they went to his house to see whats happening and he says he seemed a decent helpful guy who was experiencing genuine problems with deliveries. dont know what to do?! :confused: certainly dont feel like getting ripped off £230 though!!!!!!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! i ordered an apexi avcr from him on the 10 may. delivery was to be 7-10 days.........guess what i havent received? i dont believe it.....gutted! :mad:

well i dont need to buy owt to clean my car as im a window cleaner that uses (and builds) these new window cleaning machines. these machines use an idea similar to the flash car kits. the tap water goes through a series of filters and resin to make it pure, removing all trace of things that leave those white spots/marks on your paintwork. best bit is you dont need to dry the car as the water dries smear free! hope you all enjoy your flash kits:D gaz!

used to have a diesal vauxhall combo van as im self employed. i would use this to run around in through the week and then the zed on the weekend, if it wasnt in the garage! sold the van in january and got a combo with gas conversion.............33.9p a litre!!!!!!!!!! :bow: never had motoring so cheap!

yep it is a bummer.............so i left it! looks like its been changed as its different to other pipes, made sure its tight as i found a few hoses with loose jubilees. just annoying that i cant seem to find where the smells are from? :mad:

i know its a common fault for the zeds to smell of petrol, which mine does. so i got the fuel line kit in the group buy from smithy, actually i got sent 2 sets for the price of one.....cheers paul ;)!!!!!!!! (cant keep it though!). The kit looks very tidy but it hasnt totally eliminated the smell, although has helped. ive had a good sniff in the engine bay and it seems to be coming from the passenger side rear of engine, near the battery. ive tightened all the hoses i can see but was wondering if theres any others ive missed? :mad: any help would be appreciated!

i fitted one of these to my 16v calibra (i know its a long way off from a zed!), but it didnt make much difference in my opinion. Also i was told that if your car has been chipped then you shouldnt use a boost valve for some reason :confused: , dont know if thats right though!

dont know how many sets of bulbs ive tried from different places who always seem to say "yep, deffinatly will fit your 300zx".......do they ever fit.....NO!!!!! :headvswal cheers mate will try these!

as you have probably all found the jap headlights are pretty useless and you cant see a thing at night!!!! i know you can get the HID conversion kits, but i wondered if there is any "cheap" option to getting something a bit brighter without having to spend into the hundreds (trying to save for a respray......and leather interior.....and some wheels.......and some ICE)? cheers, gaz!

if it doesnt work out theres often people selling their cars in the "cars for sale" section on this site, might be worth checking out? chances are you will get a well looked after example of a zed.

it says in the ad that its owned by a "nissan club member", is that the guy you are buying from or does he mean previous owner was a club member? would of thought they would be a member of this club (300zx.co.uk) or the "other" club (zclub.net). just another point, the front bumper i think has been resprayed as it doesnt have the grey plastic trim just above the number plate that alot of zeds have (mine does), maybe the car has had a colour change or poss respray of the front? im not saying its a bad car though, looks very tidy (tidier than mine if im honest!). hope you find what your after any way mate, and happy zedding!

at last, off on a weeks hols!!! :duffer: havnt been away for over a year now, due to lack of funds..........guess what the money has been spent on.... yep on my zed (glad i got an understanding wife)!! got a cottage in wales for a week, along with 6 other mates so should be fun. really hoping the zed isnt going to give me any grief, first big run its done since having the gearbox fixed. c u all in a week!!!!!!!!!!

have been thinking of importing one of these (yes......still keeping the zed though). you can pick them up quite cheap from jap auctions. my mate has this week collected his celica, 94 model with only 41k on the clock, it has the original jap paperwork to back it up. it was graded as a 4 rating, and TBH i have never seen a car so mechanically clean and tidy that hasnt just rolled off a production line!!!! :bow: so if this standard is anything to judge by hopefully i will be able to get in a very clean example. ............dont much about them though mate! (maybe should do before buying one!!!!!!!!!!)
