Hi to all :-) Check out my pics...
The zed your looking at is a non turbo that was originally sold for about a grand less a couple of months back then put straight back up for sale by the new owner at the inflated price.

Speaker upgrade
My Bose front speakers were 4"?!

new owner , hopefuly :)
This was for sale on this forum, listed by Wayne1988 (I think). Nice looking zed there mate, enjoy!!! And as mentioned above, please drive carefully until you get used to it mate, zeds can seriously bite you in the ass if treated without the respect they need and deserve.

What did you do to your zed today?
I removed it because I preferred the way my old n/a handled ( plus my ball joints were shot and the eliminator kit was roughly the same cost as replacements). I have found that the steering with hicas is a little bit vague, but there are people who like it (each to there own).

What did you do to your zed today?
Today I finally got my hicas eliminator kit fitted... Hurray!!! What an absolute ar5e of a job removing the ball joints!!! I haven't completely finished the job yet as I still need to remove all the pipework but that can wait for now. Also just need to get the tracking done tomorrow to stop my tyres being ruined.

works Christmas parties
Had my karting work do last night, had so much fun! I ended up 2nd in the grid for the final out of 20 of us, unfortunately some tw4t rammed me on a corner and spun me into the tyre wall, I managed to claw my way back to 6th but was a little annoyed to say the least! All in all though, had a great time, and finished the night of with a large box of krispy kreme donuts :)

Are seatbelts in right place

Are seatbelts in right place
Pretty sure that would mean its a series 1. Best way to check the year is the label at the bottom of the seatbelt. Although if I'm wrong I'm sure someone else will correct me.

TT v NA
I have a tt auto now and before that I had a na manual (both daily drivers). if given the choice I would happily go back to the n/a manual over the tt auto! don't get me wrong, I love the tt, especially the endless power from the tubs! but the 300 really needs a manual gearbox to feel like the true sports car it is intended to be! either way you go, tt or na you will have buckets of fun available to you via your right foot!

Fitted the 'Bycas' Today.....
That you definitely did mate! I will definitely get it finished next weekend, although with this working on my car every weekend, I'm not leaving much time for Christmas shopping! (Baa humbug)

Fitted the 'Bycas' Today.....
Well, tried again at removing the ball joints today. This time I tried the cutting method (like in the pics mantav8 posted), and even then with loads of heat the bloody thing wouldn't budge a bloody mm!!! Eventually after spending the hole day hitting, heating, cutting, grinding and even drilling, I managed to get one (yes... Just the one!) side out. Had to bodge the original arm back on for now using the eliminator bush, bolt and some large washers as can't attach properly until the other side and steering rack has been removed. I did however bypass the hicas bit under the bonnet already so that next weekend I can hopefully finish the job and get all the hicas pipes etc removed and then off to the garage to get the tracking done (so that my new tyres don't get completely ruined)

Top work as always mate.

Fitted the 'Bycas' Today.....
No amount of hitting it was shifting this mate, if it was that simple then i would have it fitted by now :) Hopefully someone could comment on the cutting route as in the pics above and how easy it is to remove after its been cut.

Fitted the 'Bycas' Today.....
Tried to fit my eliminator kit again today, for the life of me I can't get the ball joint out!!! Mark derby said to cut it like in pic 5 but how easy does it come out once this is done? Don't want to cut it if it is just as difficult to remove as I can't just leave the job half done (daily driver). Any info would be greatly received.
