  1. I had 0 boost issues and it was down to the det sensor. Check the ECU first I guess.
  2. Just paid by bank transfer.
  3. I parked up in the same apartment block as you were :p Mine might have been out of sight though.
  4. And check around the screwholes on the clocks too. It's hard not to mark the screws if it's been removed.
  5. On auto's, with those suffering from the speed sensor fault, the miles that you clock up whilst it's faulting at the time won't reflect the actual mileage either. Just play about with the interior. The condition will reflect the mileage (such as worn gearsticks, painted numbers missing on the wipers, rips and tears in the leather (although it can be down to the sun shining on the seats).
  6. To be honest, we often had this question at my old Nissan garage usually regarding the 1.5 and 2.0 Diesel variants It just happens in the winter. Has it had a good blast down the motorway as well? The only other thing, is to try some Forte fuel treatment or give it a service.
  7. Hey, I remember you from JNE - you had an RX-8 if I recall back then! I didn't really attend the meets though :)
  8. Its not against modified cars. It's against those tits who paint their lights so that the tail lights are barely visible, and the stop lights look as bright as the tail lights on an ordinary car. It's incredibly dangerous in the fog. Sometimes you just have to see some common sense with these changes. They're not doing it to get at us, unlike the land of free, USA.
  9. I put Quantum 5w30 in mine. It's £300 for a 208 litre barrel (or free from work :D)
  10. It can't be a Z clock if it works! :p
  11. It's exactly what I have on mine at the moment. Can't tell you how it is for boosting, as I need to get it back in the garage :(
  12. The GT28RS (aka Disco Potato) is a really old design, and not officially a Garrett turbo. Pretty unreliable too. A second hand S14 GT28 is a better choice, or an even more modern GT2871r. I'm not hugely knowledgeable about turbo's, but it's just stuff I've read through on various forums.
  13. I had a similar problem... no blue smoke, just a grinding noise... my o/s turbo catastrophically failed. I can't see the video for some reason though :s
  14. My ex bf had one when we first met. We drove EVERYWHERE! I said that I have to get one someday, and here I am :D
  15. If it was around the South Shields area, possibly me. Not sure if you mean the south side though, I can't think of a Tesco Express around there :S
  16. Not digging that tbh :/ I think the "ricer" look spoils a perfectly good car.
  17. I like the Nardi steering wheels, they're a tad expensive though; http://www.driftworks.com/shop/car-parts/interior/steering-wheels/nardi-steering-wheels
  18. Give your two front wheels a good shake side to side back and forth and see if there is any play in any ball joints or worn suspension arm bushes. Put it on full lock and check the coil spring positioning Check your advisories from last years MOT Those could give some ideas
  19. What would be a price on the manual conversion? I'd not have the funds for a few weeks myself, seems a match made in heaven :D
  20. It's gotten to the point where everything is obviously staged. I don't think anything just happened by itself.
  21. It's to read the fault codes if you're on about pic #2
  22. Not all 3d TV's require the glasses any more :p
  23. The best Christmas gift ever :)
  24. Merry Christmas all x :)
  25. I'm not local, but if you can be a bit more specific it may help. Is the car attempting to turn over? Is the MIL light on the dash? Have you checked for any codes on the ECU?
