  1. Exactly that. The Z32 isn't a light car, and the Clio is just full of cheap plastic bits. Where it differs is that the Z is a comfortable cruiser at any speeds and not the performance marque of the Nissan brand.
  2. Sennheiser PC360 G4ME. A lot of people would recommend them.
  3. Why is there a green passat there? :D
  4. I've watched a few episodes, but I prefer the Australian version... they're not trying to be clones of Jezza, Hammond and May. http://www.finalgear.com if anyone wants to download via torrent some of the episodes ;)
  5. Yeah, I hope something can get sorted. My car is getting welded atm, and as soon as it's done, gonna rush it through an MOT here and have a bit play :) Sorry for drifting off topic though :)
  6. Maybe if you get a hand pump adapter thing, you might be able to screw that onto your tyre valve, and you can have an extra 3" of valve :p http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canyon-Cycle-Bicycle-Bike-Tyre-Pump-Connector-Adaptor-/130558575110 Worth a try for £2 I guess
  7. In all seriousness, are you having trouble with the L shaped pump valves? If so, you may need "L" shaped tyre valves, which most tyre fitters won't stock.
  8. The brake rollers at my works MOT station got mine at 1740kg, I didn't think they were that heavy lol. It's a 2+2 TT
  9. Putting an RB25 in a Z is just going backwards. It's a gutless engine and should in no way be compared even slightly to the RB26.
  10. The anti roll bar links are just behind the brake discs, just a simple metal (sometimes plastic in fords + vauxhall) with two ball joints on either end. Theres lots of bushes though, but I think he's referring to the lower suspension arm bush?
  11. It's an exedy pressure plate, using their old name daikin
  12. Larger alloys generally help with a good set of tyres. Coilovers will stiffen up the car during cornering.
  13. My friend at my local Nissan parts engine said for the VG30DETT to use 10w40 fully synthetic. People do recommend thicker oil for older vehicles though. I recently put 10w30 fully in mine.
  14. Hey Paul, how would I do a boost leak test? We have most garage equipment here, but for turbos and such it's usually passed on to another company. Dragonback, it's been here since 1999, and a previous owner had blacked out the lights and knackered the centre panel doing the fog light. I do know of an electrician who could do it, but obviously it's better cost wise if I try :p
  15. Where abouts is the speed sensor on the gearbox? It would just make the lads at my works life a lot easier thats all! Thanks for the quick responses :)
  16. :o HOW?? lol I haven't had any accidents, 2 ncb and female! SEXISM haha
  17. After picking my Z up, I've had a little play and found some problems with it; * Turbo whine when hot only - I tried mid temperature and it didn't make any noise at all * Speedometer not working at times, then it comes back to life intermittantly * Power steering going heavy and HICAS light coming on - been told it could be down to the auto gearbox sensor being damp - common problem? * No rear fog lamp - how easy is it to rewire one into the centre light panel? I also have a couple of switches, one which looks like a damper and another on the gearbox (not on the lever itself), and I'd just like to know what they're for. Thanks, Rachel.
  18. I'll be looking forward to the Z meets in the region. I should be all up and running by the weekend, so any time from then is ok by me ;)
  19. I did post a picture link in my previous post :P it was done at night so the lighting effects arent the best. I have a few ideas with it, but most likely things will get moving after Christmas. It just really needs a lot of tidying up, but I love the car standard anyway. I'll end up putting the ebay clear lights on that look similar to standard, a new exhaust and possibly upgrading the turbos, but something like that is a long time down the road. I'm sure people here can give me a lot of advice and help on whatever I may need though, thanks :).
  20. Just brought my new baby home with me, and it was a lovely short drive home. It only cost me £750 and has no tax or MOT, but I got it put through an unlogged MOT and it failed on 2 sills and a rear fog light. Just gonna put some money into it so that it's looking nice and running well, and my works gave me a nice price on a full respray too. http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/5316/photo0090r.jpg I'm so happy :D
  21. It starts at around 9:50 and when he takes off again, you can hear the Ring Taxi go into the Corvette..
  22. They also have an RB25DET as well as a few other varients of the VG engine :p
  23. If you're over 25 (30 in some cases) and the car is over 20 years old, then it qualifies as classic :p
  24. Heh, don't worry I can give as good as I get :p Very happy about the initial feeling i'm getting from the club too :)
