Well I had difficulty seeing the road on a night. Now I know why. Just taken the headlights apart to clean and also to fit my HID kit from Dan at DTA. Could not believe the build up of dirt. Also HID fitment for those interested. It has taken me 4 hours and all I have done is take headlights off, clean one of them fit it back as well as installation of both HID units. Dont know how accurate datascan is but im guessing it is pretty accurate. Anyway my car is standard apart from an hks air filter, i got 5.65 secs to 60. Mine is a swb auto. Thanks Paul

I have datascan. Not sure on how to use all of it (timing etc). I guess if you plugged it in and saved the settings someone on here could have look at how its running? I no its not as good as consult but the offers open. Thanks Paul

Sorry should have mentioned that it is not coming from the top of the engine but behind and a bit down. Located somewhere near the heater matrix pipe work.

Actually recently it has been idling higher than normal but only intermittently. Do you think it could be the EGR valve?

Used a boost leak detector to check for boost leaks and i can hear air escaping from the back of the engine (see pic). Has anyone got a picture of the back of the engine that shows which boost pipes it could be? Thanks Paul

Is there a definitive guide out there for installing one of these? I’ve had a look at a guide on this forum but the minimum boost would be set at 9 psi instead of 7psi and you also need loads more silicon tubing. Do you need extra tubing etc to install the profec b spec 2 in a 300zx. I would prefer a guide that is step by step and has pics. Or alternatively someone who lives near me to come help or to do it :tongue: . Thanks Paul

Hi. My exhaust was leaking mainly from the decat pipes so I ordered some new ones from petrolheads. SWB 300 TT. After taking the exhaust off the right side came off fine but the left side all the bolts snapped :xxx: . See pics Drilled the bolts through so I can now get a nut and bolt on. Problem is these new decat pipes are longer than the ones that where on. The old exhaust is a hks superdragger. These must be made differently to other exhausts because of the length of the different sections. So it looks like I am going to need a rear section. Also due to the fact it also has cracks and holes in it. (cant really tell by pics just thought id put pics up) Would it be ok to take it to a place to get a rear section made up driving, with just the detcat pipes on? Apart from getting caught by police for a noisy exhaust, would it damage the engine/turbo’s? Does anyone on here sell SWB exhausts?
