  1. Hi all My car has been off road over winter while I upgrade suspension etc. I have been stating it up about once a month letting it warm up fully by driving it. Have not been boosting it much if at all. I also need to replace the coil pack connectors as the clips are shot and its not making a connection (intermittent misfire). Anyway I used datascan to pin point which cylinder was not firing and it was cylinder 1. Fiddled about with coil pack connector then all ok. Ran an ecu diag and came up code 34 det sensor!!!! Started 4 times with this code. What could have caused this? Been stood for a while? I am a bit worried. Took the car out for a drive, felt fine and boosted ok. Re-tested ecu no error codes. Any help guys? Also could anyone have a look at my data logging from datascan and conzult see if everything looks ok? Thanks

  3. Anyone on here know of or can do some aluminium polishing? Need my plenum and front water pipes doing. I have given them to a local lad to do but he’s had them for a month or more and still has not started. Not too happy but he says the machine where he works is broke. Dont really want to do it myself as i dont think id have the patience to finish once i started. Thanks Paul

  9. Thanks StellaZ I have already removed all that. I just was not sure if i had to do anything with the redundant wireing. The wire that ran to the Receiver drier and the fuse that operates the aircon.
  10. Hi I have just removed the aircon. What do you do with the wiring and fuses etc? In particular the wire that goes to the cylinder thing near the air filter? Thanks
  11. Hi I have got an aftermarket oil cooler to fit to my car. I am then going to use the original one for the auto box. Question is, is it ok to just strap the new oil cooler to the radiator or will it be best to make some sort of bracket for it? Can you buy brackets for them i think its a Mocal oil cooler? Thanks Paul
  12. I dont see why not, a decent bodyshop should be able to sort it for you. Is the wheel and suspension ok?
  13. You will have to remove the two metal water pipes from front of engine to get to the screws to take the left cover off.Also removal of ptu and wires to cas. The right side comes straight off. If you want the bottom metal one off you will have to remove the crank pulley and to make that easier i recommend taking off rad. There really is no need to take that bottom cover off though. HTH

  15. It was a friends car and after the accident i bought it off the insurance company. Log book got sent off and no problems. Guess i got lucky.
  16. For some reason my car escaped this. The damage was severe too as you may see from my rides section. The car is not classed as a write off on the log book and did not need a vic check. I even rang dvla to confirm this. :rofl: :hyper:
  17. Belt might need adjusting or a new one.
  18. With hold the car will not rev past a certain rpm think its around the 4k mark.

  20. Apparently mine is locked using bb5? I have a code creator but that only uses dct2, 3 and 4????
  21. Does anyone work for o2 and can get me a code to unlock a nokia 5300? Is there anyother way to unlock it from the o2 network?
