  1. The other day i noticed that a pipe was leaking coolant from near the top hard pipe. So ive taken the engine to bits, just have a few questions. lol 1. If i were to flush the engine which hole do i put the hose pipe in the right the left or the middle oval one? 2. where will i get the small rubber hoses from that go on the left and right pipe? Just nissan or do any people on here sell them? This is mine The split doesn’t seem to go right through but i can find were else it would be leaking. Rad. I take it the pipes on the left side are gearbox oil cooler pipes? 1. If i got an aftermarket oil cooler what do i do with these pipes? Do i empty the oil out or just block them up with nothing in? 2. What is the other big cooler that the fan is attached to, the oil cooler? 3. Is there anything else i can do while i have the rad out and all the pipes? 4. When taking the hard pipes off i noticed a black silicone substance around the seal like a gasket. Where do i get this when putting them back on?
  2. I dont think it looks like damage from a car (door or reversing). Plus i checked the car that was near me and there was no damage to his. I think it was probably kids, maybe off a bike handle bar.
  3. I dont understand why that first photo is so big. Ive resized it to the same size as the other one yet on here its massive!
  4. Can anyone tell me what the codes mean and any differences etc?
  5. Fcukers Just damage your car and **** off. Not happy, but i will be able to get it sorted for next to nothing but thats not the point.  :headvswal
  6. http://www.107.peugeot.co.uk/peugeot.swf Only problem is its a pug.
  7.
  8. In the end i used a hammer and chisel to smash the top of the sensor off to leave just the bolt. Then got a standard 22mm socket on and it came off easy. The problem i had was getting hold of a 22mm crows foot, and a long socket wouldnt reach the bolt on the base of the sensor after i snipped the wire. Make sure you use loads of wd40 or similar too. Hope it goes a lot better than when i done mine.
  9. Is there any diff between series 1 and series 2 ecu's? Can any or either be put in the different series cars? How can you tell which series the ecu has come from? Thanks
  10. wooohooo done it. Had to use a hammer and chisel to break the o2 sensor down to the nut then just put a standard socket on and it snapped free and came out easy. Ive ripped my hands to shreads tho. Also found a fuel leak near the plastic cover on top of the engine. Tightened up the clips sorted. Over the moon. :D :D :D
  11. Yeah i have cut the wires off, but still cant get a long 22mm socket on. Guess im gonna have to go at it with a hammer! lol
  12. Anyone know of a garage up here that will be able to get it out. I dont have a prob putting the new one in just getting the old one out. Noone in hartlepool will touch the zed F***ers.
  13. Heres the vid from the outside. http://videos.streetfire.net/search/300zx/1/CD405EC9-A808-4868-A5B7-B54A39A8396F.htm
  14. Where did you guys get your 22mm crows foot sockets from? Theres only 1 place locally that can order them but its 45 quid for one. Cant find anyone with one that i can borrow either. :headvswal :headvswal
  15. I think the pics make it look good, but in real life the bodywork aint that great. You can see its had a bump. I cant believe how much ive learnt with owning it. Done all the aux belts, sparkplugs, fuel filter and ran ecu diagnostics. There have been a few times when i thought oh ghod what have i let myself in for! But it was worth it in the end. Problems im having now are: 1. driverside o2 sensor is gone been a bitch to get it out and im still waiting to get hold of a 22mm crow's foot socket. 2. Couple of holes in exhaust had it welded once but the centre silencer is completely shot now. 3. Rust appearing on the nearside rear arch. 4. the boot interior is annihilated and getting hold of a new one for swb is going to be difficult. Think i might just get someone to do some custom job. But the main problem is that f***ing o2 sensor. And thanks for all the kind words and the welcome :hyper:

  20. Pic test
  21. Hi finally subscribed. I have a swb tt auto zed. I bought it of my friend’s dad after he wrote it off!! Was rear-ended but there was no major structural damage. Loved the car from the first time I bought it and I could not see it get scrapped. Bought it for £400 off the insurance co. I don’t really have that much money to put into it so I have just done what I can. All in all after the jigging and spraying and parts its cost about £1200. I will post some pics of it as soon as I get some web space. Its not up to the standard of most of your zeds but had to have her back on the road. Still got a couple of probs but with your help hope to resolve them. What’s the best site to host pics?

New to 300's.
