  7. I worked for a mobile company for years and have a new new phone every month (Janus will verify the many boxes of phones I have) to test and can honestly say everybody's comments are feasible. Phones are so emotive these days, they are the company cars of yester year.. The best advice I have seen on here is go and try some, but above all think what do I want from my phone, if its a great camera Sony, if you like to play android, if you want something that does the job and allows you simply get the apps then iphone. Have to jailbreak it though.. Android has just taken over as the number one os and the Samsung is this years device. Saying that I cannot get away with Android so I have an Iphone as it does exactly what I want. I also like the apple experience. Ive moved from Linux to mac in the house because its easier for the kids. My advice, list want you want the phone to do and then go and try a few.. I did try the android tablet recently and keeping the security upto date really pissed me off so went back to the ipad...

  14. Hi Mate, Have a look at these. The apps above all track via GPS which is good as long as the mobile sees the sky, i.e. isnt in the handbag or the back row of the cinemas. Satellite tracking is accurate to about 5 metres. If the phone cannot see the sky, you can track the sim through triangulation. Accuracy significantly reduces but is enough to see roughly where the person is. If I remember correctly within 50 metres in built up areas.. The advantage as well is you dont need to put any software on her phone or enable the gps etc.. http://www.followus.co.uk/#4 http://www.mobilelocate.co.uk/ http://www.childlocate.co.uk/ there are others but you want something you pay for when you use it like chillocate....

  20. Hi All, Anybody interested in a Dyno day in Durham? its walking distance to the City Centre so if youve not been to Durham for a while, good opportunity. It would be at Evotune. Jamie races his own cars so knows what he is doing. It would be £35 if 10+ cars otherwise £40. Advice and printouts would be available of course. Im thinking towards the end of August? Who would be interested? Any makes of cars welcome...
