  1. As a Coventry kid born and bred, I can understand that at first glance things can appear a bit concrete. Once you start to explore the surrounding areas, things can become very interesting. A bit biased I know, but there is more. Honest!:lol::lol:

  5. When you do go for a quick drive, keep an eye on the brakes. They may have seized a little.

  7. I have had nothing but good experiences from CZP. Coz has been a great help every time. Can't say I have dealt with Z1 though.

  10. Sorry, did not mean to add to the pressure of the build. As for Beaulieu, I have been seriously considering it! Mind you, I do not know anything about the meet though. The only thing I may know is it is sometime in August?
  11. Thanks Si! (it's the only part of my car that might be though) Glad to hear your build is going well, it is the one car I hope to see in the flesh soon as from what I have seen so far, it must be exceptional. Coventry was my first meet after being a member/owner for nearly 10 years. I have definitely got the meeting bug now.
  12. Looks like the re build is going well Si? Loving the detailing on the headlights, I completely refurbished mine not so long back. (Nightmare)
  13. Decided to take the zed out for a run in the sun after putting her through the wet weather at the Coventry meet. I don't know if it's just my imagination coupled with adrenalin, but she really does like the warmth and pulls that little bit better. Pulled up on the drive after about a 10 mile spirited run and took this photo. Vitals looking good me thinks.
  14. Beautiful. Would have loved to have seen it in the flesh.
  15. Me too! Legend. RIP
  16. Wise words indeed.
  17. Sorry to hear that you had such a traumatic day mate! Hope you get the car sorted soon.
  18. Goody bag? Was not offered one also. As for the raffle? Missed that as well.
  19. Looking very nice Si! Hope to see it in the flesh Saturday if all goes well. So long as you don't park next to mine.
  20. Don't worry Slick Pete, I am taking mine. It's a mixture of primer and gloss, looks great from about 20 feet but up close it is a bit of a dog. Lol
