Just noticed a sticker on the gearbox: Why do they specify ATF fluid in a manual gearbox? :confused:

The early black is metallic. The later black Series 3 '93 onwards is a solid black. When I bought my black car I thought it was supposed to be metallic and somebody did a cheap ass spray job with non-metallic paint. After a bit of research I found out that Nissan did change the paint to non metallic for sure.

Well, I had no choice but to do it really, I ordered from the USA, it arrived a week before Le Mans 2004 so I attempted to fit it. OMG the world ended when the new pressure plate didn't line up! :( So I made a few enquiries, getting a replacement from the USA was out of the question now because of the lack of time so I looked at the stock pressure plate clamping force which was around 900+kg IIRC, made enquiries with AP I think it was for their 'uprated' clutch kit and found their pressure plate clamping was 800kg! LOL In the end as I said I fitted the N/A plate and TT flywheel and pressure plate just to get me to Le Mans and back, and was going to change it when I got back. The fact is I've never needed to change it because I've never had it slip, ever! HTH dude :)

If you're desperate to get yourself mobile again, you can use the N/A friction plate and your TT pressure plate & flywheel. I've had this combo in my red Z since 2004 so I know it works LOL albeit with a McLeod racing clutch plate.

It is correct. You will see 60-80hp increase with chip and boost upgrade. The car feels TOTALLY different to how it was at 9psi. In fact, when you turn the boost down to 9psi (electronic controller) the car feels so damn slow! :mac1:

I very much agree they look crap and are less practical than 'real' doors lol.

It depends on the width of your wheels. Have a look on them, they'll have 8J, 8.5J, 9J etc etc stamped on them somewhere. This is rim width in inches, the tyre is then selected to suit this.

That was Gio's car. Pristine stock example of a Z32. I think he was even running with a boost leak as well at that point.

Hi Guy'n'Kate, you bought this car from a place in Wednesbury literally 1/4 mile from where I work! It's a very new car sales place (only been there a couple of weeks) and I'd seen this car but not put 2 & 2 together LOL! I had a good look around it today and took a couple of pics. First thing I notice is it's had new tyres on all round, but they have fitted all 235 tyres. Rears need changing to 255 because they look stretched on the rims. Apart from that, it looks a nice fresh import! Get it waxoiled ASAP or sooner :p before the winter salt starts munching away at it :( All the best, Rob.
